Try Nassau in the Bahamas. You go away from the tourist area towards the middle of the island and you are in the REAL ghetto. Many of the homes are made of stamped rippled sheet metal, tarps and plywood. Everything is covered in dirt and the people are poor as hell. If you think parts of NYC and Paterson are bad and are the ghetto you have no damn clue. It's no wonder why everybody wants to come to America.

I've been to many parts of the country. I haven't seen it all since America is a huge country, but I've seen a large amount of it.
And Neko, if you want to talk about bad drivers, go to New York City some time. If you can drive there really well you can drive almost anywhere.

I lived in New Jersey my whole life up until last year and I've been to New York City many times. When I talk about the Midwest, I've been there and didn't like it at all. I've been to many parts of the country. I haven't seen it all since America is a huge country, but I've seen a large amount of it.

You try Boston yet?
This might be an old stereotype but hell, their are 2 bad drivers in the world, Canadians, and people who hail from Boston, or Mass itself.

I moved to Phoenix in Arizona. I DROVE through the Midwest on my way out here. Stopped in a place called Casey, Indiana for the night. Ho...ly...crap. That place was as small as it gets. And there was nothing around.
The Midwest sucked. I never want to go back there. And from the Midwest to Oklahoma there was occasionally a gigantic cross that was like the size of the Statue of Liberty standing in the middle of a field right by the interstate. :|

I actually prefer the nothingness of the midwest to the city where I live now. The town I went to high school in had 250 population, and I think that was a very generous number. Maybe I should move back to the middle of nowhere.

California drivers suck too. Those people are nuts. Try something like....being in a merging lane and a lady in a Cadillac Escalade with California plates passes you within about 5 inches of your car and almost ends up wedging her car into the center highway barrier at about 15 mph faster than you. I could have wrecked.

I come from the greatest city and the best state in the country; Los Angeles Ca. Home of the world champions Los Angeles Lakers. Say what you will about our fake breasts and hollywood crap but this is where I grew up. I've been all over the US and the world and all I have to say that CA/LA has just about everything: from the richness of its ethnic diversity and the sights to see. Of course its got a lot of negative stuff as well but just like how you guys love where you come from, so do I.

California is actually a better state than New York I will admit. I mean NY only has NYC. California has LA, SF, Berkeley (if only for the high percentage of hot girls, well the UC system in general seems to have it) and the holy city of Cupertino.
NYC is way better than LA though. I mean LA is an urban planning tragedy.

Dude I go to NYU. You should have accepted. Literally you can meet someone, sleep with them and never see them again. Also. Generally we're pretty good looking here at NYU.
Yup Austria, it was either that or New Zealand.

I've only been out here a little over a year and I'm used to it. For some reason I adjusted quickly. It's because there's no humidity in the air. And being from the East Coast, I know what humid really is.
