Neither is most J-pop, and I figure it's closer to J-pop than most topics covered in the Off Topic music section. Though there are Korean artists who have sung for anime OP and EDs... (Lena Park- Romeo x Juliet OP, 2nd Inuyasha ending by BoA...)

Sorry, it's just a pet peeve of mine. These days when people hear "Asian music" they think "ANIME MUSIC LOLZ", which is quite ridiculous.

I question why the pillows thread is in the anime music section when only 5% of their discography is even used in anime (the shows include FLCL, moonlight mile, and BECK). They're my favorite band and yet most people just think of them as "THAT ANIME BAND LOLZ".

Anyways, sorry for kind of derailing your thread... I'll leave now. ^_^

I only listen to a little bit of *TVXQ's Korean albums and a couple songs by Chonan Kan. It's pretty good, but I catch myself half-laughing at parts that sound funny. :P I know. I feel bad though.

I'm a big fan of "Loveholic", who did the theme song to some anime (Black Blood Brothers maybe?) a little while ago. I looked up some of their music and I enjoy a bunch of it.
