My friends and I are pretty big DAI fans, so the news of them getting back together was pretty outstanding. Anyway, they've announced a new album coming out Sept. 30th called "Eternal Flame".

It basically says there will be a CD+DVD (5900 yen) version and a CD (5000 yen) version, and it'll come with a commemorative T-shirt. You can also buy the shirt separately for 3000 yen.

The shirt is a 10 year anniversary commemorative shirt, which is kind of cool. I didn't realize they first formed in 1999 until a few minutes ago when I was reading it somewhere.

DAI is like one of the few Jpop artists whose PV's don't leave me scratching my head upon it's completion...

Anyway good stuff. If it's anywhere as good as their Gates of Heaven album, I'll be satisfied.

The DAI PV for "TAO" makes my eyes well up with tears almost every time I see it. I'm close to crying just thinking about the darn video. Looks like it was removed from youtube cause i can't find the legit PV anywhere. :(

Yeah it was their final single before disbanding, and the song is essentially about two friends parting ways after a long journey. At the end of the song Tomiko looks at the camera then silently mouths "sayonara" then looks like she's holding back tears when she turns around and walks away.

You know I had heard a lot of their music but never watched their PVs (which I now regret because I was just reminded how insanely hot Tomiko Van is) until I read this. So I downloaded this PV and it is quite awesome.
