Interesting to see Naruto prostrating before the Raikage for Sasuke's sake. Lately we've been getting glimpses of Naruto's maturity and the fact that he can see the bigger picture now, and this was just the latest example of this.

Naruto's having to learn something completely new which is solving a situation without using any form of violence or aggression. It's like learning to be a shinobi all over again; he's faced with an uphill task again, even though he has some idea about what is the most important thing to do. It just goes to show that just because you know the right thing to do it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be the easiest thing to do.

I don't know about you guys but for me seeing Naruto's character development lately has been a worthwhile substitute for the fighting (and to an extent the narrative continuity). It's makes me really empathise with Naruto, having seen how far he has come as a person.

Not too much. It setup some interesting stuff to happen, but was a little dull imo. Especially in comparison to Danzo whupping *** last chapter. Naruto still has his head in the sand.

I don't understand how someone killing Sasuke will cause a war between the two villages. Naruto seems to forget that Sasuke is like #1 on America's Most Wanted for both villages. His death will be met with a sigh of relief, not war.

The only thing that would cause war imo is the Leaf reacting like, "sucks to be you guys. We're not gonna do a thing to Sasuke. If he wants to run around destroying your villages, we're not gonna stop him. Hell we're not even going to look for him. He's just misguided, i'm sure he'll come around eventually. When he does, we'll receive him with open arms and all of his actions will be forgiven and go unpunished."... which is what Naruto wants.

I saw it as the total opposite. His friend has turned into a psycho who is attacking villages and aligned himself with a group that's had some of the world's deadliest criminals as it's members, but they've attacked his hometown and were/are plotting to take over the world using war as a commodity.

Naruto still hasn't recognized that. Or he's recognized it and pretends that it's not the case.

Naruto is starting to look more and more like a coward.

His sexual obession with Sasuke is getting OLD.

He needs to accept the fact that He may end up having to kill Sasuke in order to make Jiraiya's dream a reality.

He also forgot to mention to the Raikage that his brother is likely alive.

The only way this situation will be resolved is if Killerbee makes an appearance.


As for Sasuke, though he may have some good in him left, after Danzo goes down, then what?

His next target is Naruto because to him, Naruto is still a "loser" and he cant stand the fact that Naruto may be even more powerful than him.

Yeah, it was a lame Naruto scene but as a character there is some growth. Whereas Sasuke hasn't changed from the start. He just replaces one motive of revenge with another.

Agreed, I find his development since the Pain saga and during to be quite amusing.

I just wonder if naruto is going to pop out in the meeting. You know Like he'll say " I nominate my Self as the leader of this alliance."
