It's also interesting seeing more background about another country in the Narutoverse.

Anyway, it looks like things are underway now, so the action may start in any chapter.

This is Danzo injured as well. Imagine what he'd be like if he wasn't disabled. Yikes. I hope this means we will be having another 3rd vs. Oro like fight soon. That is still my favorite fight, other then the Rock Lee vs Gaara fight I mean.

After what the Mizukage said this chapter about the "Blood Mist" (and taking into account Kisame's statement when Madara revealed who he was to him), is it safe to assume that Madara was the 4th Mizukage?

If it made sense to assume that Madara was the previous Mizukage before the current one, then it makes sense to pin the Yondaime Mizukage title upon him since the current one is the Godaime Mizukage.

It's been said but i'll say it again, Danzou is bad ***. He's quickly becoming one of the more interesting characters in the book.

On a sidenote... wtf was Orochimaru thinking? His whole goal was to try and fight the strongest Uchiha using some genjutsu/alternate reality attack, as if they are weak against that, to get access to the sharringan. First Kakashi and now Danzou... why didn't he just find some Uchiha who was coming home drunk from a party or something and rip that guy's eyes out and call it a day?

Please tell me that you guys have figured out what is going to happen. The are going to think Naruto is the Hokage because of the Danzou look. Plus he has two guards and it looks like he is getting closer to the meeting.

LOL I know, right?! But concerning the meeting, I do see a missunderstanding going on where they think Naruto is Danzo. That would be interesting.

Except that Naruto and co are tracking the Cloud Village ninja, who are going to meet up with their Raikage, who is heading to the summit. So this is what I see happening:

Taka just ran into Kabuto. Kabuto will tell Taka all about Danzou's dirty little secrets and dealing with Orochimaru (and possibly Hanzou). This includes the fact that Danzou, he who wanted to get rid of the Uchiha, just happens to have a Sharingan of his own to use. This will piss off Sasuke more, and after leaving Kabuto (alive because of his usefullness?), Taka will run into Danzou before he gets to the summit, thus delaying Danzou's arrival. Meanwhile, Naruto and co, after tracking the Cloud ninja, meet up with the Raikage, start talking to him, and he brings them to the summit, where he (and possibly Gaara), both vouch for his presence at the summit. And that's all I got for now.

edit: Actually, Naruto will probably convince the other Kage's to 'not kill Sasuke', but to help fight against Akatsuki/Madara.

edit 2: actually, forget the Taka running into Kabuto thing. I reread the chapter, and duh, Taka has already arrived close to the summit; Karin probably noticed the samurai. Oh well.

So what's the deal with the Godaime Mizukage? Is she your typical mid-life crises female who thinks she needs to get married before she gets any older? That's the vibe I'm getting off her stupid character. I mean, do we really need the straight shota setup Kishi?

I don't think he will. He coulda done something when he first saw it, but he didn't. Also, didn't he and Sasuke meet up again when they showed his face was Kabuchimaru?

He didn't do anything then either. I think Kabuto is just shell shocked and kinda in a weird place.

Also, I see some other people saying that Taka (who is that? I thought Anko was going after him) has met up with Kabuto... has this actually happened? I keep seeing people reference it like it's already taken place.
