How can you see the series ending?

I know there is still quite abit of time left before end of series, but how can you see it ending? I predict Naruto will sacrifice himself in order to ensure peace....dont know why, it just seems like that is what will happen

I think Sasuke and Naruto will fight each other to a stand still then team up to face a bigger threat and the whole things ends with everyone as best friends forever. That's the cornball ending but i'm sure it will go that way.

What i'd want is for Sasuke, Team Hawk, test of Akatsuki and Kabuchimaru (my name for Kabuto/Orochimaru) to fight against the Naruto Allstars (Hinata, Rock Lee, Neji, Kakashi, Sai, Sakura, Kiba, Ino, Tenten, Gaara, etc). At least 6 people from each side are killed and Naruto or Sasuke is killed. Whoever wins has lost so many friends and companions that they are pretty much traumatized by the whole event. They leave the battlefield in a deep depression over where their life has ended up and they're never seen from again.

But I like sorrowful and tragic endings where the bad guy wins or if the good guy wins, he suffered so many losses that winning the overall fight seems worthless.

Exactly. Which is why I think it could well end with Naruto having to kill Sasuke to preserve the peace of their world. Last scene... Naruto with blood splattered all over him, his fist clenched, tears running down his face, whispering "... Sasuke."

I agree with the Naruto<-> Sasuke fight, but I think that Naruto won't actually kill Sasuke. He'll sacrifice himself to avoid killing Sasuke, and that will bring Sasuke around, thus fulfilling Naruto's promise "to bring Sasuke back". He will have brought Sasuke back into the fold, thus proving himself worthy to be Hokage.

I don't think falling will do anything to him... but maybe if a rock falls on him too...

I see it ending with Madara being defeated but in the end Madara will reveal that Sasuke is actually even more powerful then him. Thus naruto and him will fight to the death with naruto winning in the end. Sasuke will not listen to naruto and still talk about all his avenger BS and in the end to kill the hatred he kills sasuke. Proving that he has matured and put the village, no. The whole worlds fate above sasuke. Making him worthy of the title Hokage.

This might be sort of stupid/wouldn't really happen, but I always think that it should end where Naruto almost dies and Sasuke realizes how life was like with Team 7 and how fun it was(if it was to Sasuke..)and he saves Naruto's life. :D

Yeah, that's exactly how I picture the ending. I can imagine that Naruto might never become the Hokage during the series, but it will be shown in a montage after the final fight. Basically they will both end up being heroes, in a certain way... but Sasuke's death seems to have been foreshadowed since the beginning.

I agree with you there. It would take a sharingan to face a sharingan and Sasuke with get his "payback" for Madara blowing his cover at the Kage conference.

Naruto lending a helping hand would be very Naruto(ish). That's maybe where Itachi's gift will come in handy. Something to help Naruto counter sharingan effects or something similar.

If I had to predict which characters may die and how, it would be:

Madara (defeated by Naruto and Sasuke)
Zetsu (killed by Yamato)
Sai (killed by Danzo)
Kisame (killed by Might Guy or Rock Lee)
Danzo (dies by Kakashi or Sasuke)
Iruka ( a suprise death)
Tsunade
Sakura (another suprise, gets killed by either Madara or Sasuke)
Sasuke (Fatally wounded by Madara, yet helps Naruto defeating him. Dies in Naruto's arms.)
Karin (killed by Sakura)
Suigetsu
Jugo
Kabuto


Naruto is similar to Jiraiya in terms of what both went through, yet I think he will also live the same experience as Kakashi in terms of losing both of his teammates. That is a possible outcome.

^ You never know, Sakura might come in kicking *** and taking names like the puppet fight. I know that the only worthwhile thing she's done in the entire series but that's one of my favorite fights so I give her alot of credit for it.

Or she at least gets hit with something and she vomits herself out of her body. She's way underused considering how cool her back story is and what her potential SHOULD be. Orochimaru hasn't had a crap apprentice ever so she should be pretty strong and if he gave her a curse seal he probably taught her a good amount of strong jutsu.

@DatFatPat: They'll never kill that many people. This is Naruto. At most like 1 of those characters who isn't a "bad guy" will die. If anyone else dies it'll be on some Pain BS and they'll get brought back to life.

I want to say that Tsunade sent Anko after Kabuto in the middle of the Pain fight. I'm assuming that the writer didn't just pull names out of a hat for that one. To send Orochimaru's first apprentice to capture Orochimaru's former partner, who is turning into Orochimaru reincarnated, has to be more than just coincidence on the writer's part.
