My favorite cereal no longer exists. At least in my area I forget the full name but it was a Popeye cereal that was like captain crunch but it had a better taste and much easier to munch then captain crunch. It was one of those non boxed cereals you would find in the bargain section. Man those we're good. :)

Cereal with peanut butter in it sounds horrifyingly delicious! :D
I personally go for Cheerios about 7 times out of 10.

Um.. I like corn puffs, Basic 4 and That cheerio version where the box is white and there's like 4 types of grains or whatever. The image below is the creal, but in Mexico the box looks a bit different:
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51gagJxkjzL.jpg
There's some killer Quaker oats cereals I really like. I like the brand because they make good cereal that's not too disgustingly sweet for a good price.
There's a great Post cereal with corn flakes with cinnamon on top with delicious dry cherries. Impossible to get in Mexico City, you can only get it at 1 mom & pop store in Tejupilco for 10 dollars, I bet it's imported from the states. Expensive stuff, but damn worth it.

The last cereal I also like a lot is one that's locally made in Mexico, it's like Rice krispies but it's chocolatey.

I like the simplicity of Cheerios and Corn Flakes. But if I want to indulge, without a doubt I'll go for Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

I eat one or two of these atleast 3 times a week. I used to like Golden Grahams but switched off awhilel ago as the taste was started to get to me. When I was little I liked Honey Smacks but tried them again after a 10 year layoff and found them disgusting.
Same goes for Lucky Charms. The stuff was a standard growing up, now it just tastes like the box was left open all night.
Used to eat Kix cereal, but it doesn't sit well with me.
In all these years I have never tried Cookie Crisp. I will eventually one day.

You know what was really disappointing? ****ing Koogle (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPSnDwBDhsQ). They had a peanut butter and chocolate version, and I begged Mom to buy some. We figured, "Hey, it'll taste like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup!"
It tasted like a lot of things, but not like anything I'd want on a sandwich. My family would eat anything; we all tried it exactly once, then never spoke of it again. It got pushed to the back of the shelf for YEARS. It was terrible.
Now, I used to LOVE Danish Go-Rounds (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQuyv8UYNzs) when I was a kid. Unfortunately, they stopped making them. I had to switch to Pop-Tarts, but... they're just not the same.

I'm trying to figure out what that stuff is supposed to be if it's not peanut butter. Peanut butter substitute? "Peanut margarine," if you will?
Leader Desslock
March 29th, 2011, 11:42 PM
^ It was a peanut butter blend. Half regular PB, half 'flavored' PB. Swirled together like a marble cake, in a jar.
I am not making this up - I have actually had nightmares about the smell of the stuff. It did not smell like peanut butter.

4 more worth mentioning cause im feeling nostalgic.

Never got the chance to try them, but crap or best thing on Earth I always wanted to try them.
http://www.mrbreakfast.com/ucp/402_2507_ucp.jpg
Only had this cereal two or three times. Didn't like it as much as the Count or Boo Berry. Suprised it lasted from 87-93.
http://www.mentalfloss.com/blogs/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/TURTLES.jpg
I was 11 and hardcore into the Ninja Turtles franchise when this stuff hits the shelves, so naturally I pissed and moaned to get this at the grocery store. THIS crap made my gut feel like my apendix was going to burst and I quit after the second or third attempt. Too much sugar coated garbage for me.
But the cereal that makes me feel most nostalgic for my early youth:
http://www.cmonfwank.com/images/article014box.jpg
I loved this stuff back in the day. Seems like I spent 1988-1990 just shut in with the NES, the cereal and those scratch off trading card mini game packs.
