ok seriously I'm not even kidding around now. I think my parents are trying to make it so I have health problems like the rest 'a the family. Tell me how I don't eat fast food at all whatsoever that includes mcdonalds, taco bell, burger king all that cancer crap, yet they go and pick up something for me o_O The other day mom picked up something for me and got pissed off at me for not eating it telling me how ungrateful I am making me feel like crap then dad gets something from taco bell for me o_O its like whadafrik if you know a person doesn't eat something why try to throw it down there throats? Not only that but like I said this is cancer food, so its not even a same case scenario as if it were in a normal home cooked meal kinda thing -_=

Ok and what if you don't eat that kinda stuff. Now I'm gonna have ta hear about it in a few minutes.....
ok no but the point if this is, they KNOW that I don't eat those things. When we went to hershey park last week and last year theres hardly anything around outside the place other then fast food joints. Last year I practicly starved myself rather then to put that cancerous crap in me, but luckly this year we brought stuff wit us like fruits and what not so I had those and pft I never eat anything while in the park or else I'd have to hold back on rides but really in this kinda case its obvious I take it to be serious business pretty much and to literally go to that extent not to eat fast food they SHOULD know that.

Opt to pay for your own groceries and tell them they no longer have to feel required to feed you. You are an adult, you should be able to feed yourself.
Lessen their burden and your own.

Just buy your own food. And if you're going somewhere where it's all food you don't like, pack a snack.

How hard is it to say, "[family member's name], I thank you for thinking of me, but I'm really trying to avoid eating any fast food right now. Please don't pick me up any more in the future. That'd be a big help, thank you." Then you eat a token amount (say half) of what they've brought you to show: a) gratitude, and b) that you really don't care for it as much as other foods (or you;d have finished it).
Simple, quiet, poltely respectful, and no drama.
At your age, why did it have to be any more complex than that?

Ya, the only fast food I eat is pizza. I don't have a taste for the stuff at mcD's and burger king. Maybe taco bell because of their hot sauce and soft tortillas... but most fast food gives me gas or stomach aches. I feel better eating the foods I cooked, and there is nothing wrong with feeling good.
Also, I realize fast food is convenient, but I can eat (very appetizing dishes) on $25-30 a week. If I were to try just eating out, I'm sure I'd spend over $40. You should really urge your parents to not become accustomed to fast food. If you give them the talk every time they buy you taco bell(which is what you should do, even if it gets annoying), they might actually stop buying fast food :P .

I had this problem when I was a teen. My parents were fast food junkies, and I eventually just stopped eating it. I outright told them "Look, I'm not eating any of the fast food you bring home. You're wasting your money, your time, and wasting food. Which is pretty bad considering there are people that would like to eat that sort of thing."

That's normal?! Thankfully that didn't apply to me as fast food is not good enough for me. Though I do have the misfortune of having to it eat once in a while since I work in Queens now and there is no good food near my building.
On topic. Yeah I would have just eaten it and mentioned that I really don't like fast food and to be sure not to get me anything in the future. My parent's while thankfully never feeding me fast food, also would have beat me up if I didn't eat food they gave me. They'd still do it if I went to their house and didn't eat what they gave me.

I guess you're parents are unaware of how ****** fast food is for you. I'm all for fast food restaurants, where they grill, and ****, but mass produced garbage from McDonalds is down right disgusting. Any sane person would tell you that you're the smart one, but obviously your parents think other wise. It's time to take a stand and flat out say you don't want them bringing you home food you refuse to eat. It's waste of time and money.

That's strange, if they know you don't like fast food, why are they buying it for you? I mean, my parents would buy what they considered 'healthy' food, regardless of how I felt about it, but there was actually sense...Got It! They think you have an eating disorder. I think there are a lot of 'health freaks' who're unable to properly feed themselves. Like, 'Whoo! I ate two cups of lettuce, today, health-y! Enjoy your heart disease, fatties!' *Whooping Cough*
 Seriously, what else could it be? 'Less, it's their way of telling you that there's an opening at the local McDonald's. OR MAYBE, they want you to stay their 'little girl,' forever, so they're trying to sabotage you by making you eat fattening foods. Didn't you say they think you're e-dating? They're probably all, 'No man will want her once she's all fat and greasy!' Work with me, people!

When I was a kid, going to McDonalds was a treat for me. I didn't come from a family that could afford to munch on fat kid food often, but I figured the stuff tasted good, and wasn't bad every now and then.
Are you heavy into dieting or something? Just take the stuff, it won't give you cancer or impregnate you with a burger fetus...
Didn't you think about the starving African orphans who have no food when you rejected perfectly edible food (note here I omit the word healthy).
I gotta disagree with you here. With that logic we'd all have to wake up, look in a mirror and ask ourselves "hm, I wonder what life would be like if I was living in Somalia right now?" Life is what it is.

thats what I'm saying first of all those places don't even use real meet. I saw a video on a lady that kept a 8 year old or something like that hamburger from mcdonalds and the thing doesn't even show not the slightest sign of decomposition even after 8 years. If THAT doesn't tell you how bad that stuff is for you, then I don't know what will.

thats exactly what I believe the conspiracy here to be. Just the other day they got on my case about something just because I had an orange. Then my mom tells me if I don't eat a normal lunch then I'll pass out and die -_= Thats really horrible to say to someone especially considering the fact of like I said I'm the only person in my family that doesn't have health problems and they're trying to tell me whats good for me.

Not so much at buffets in Vegas. You find every type of person at those places. And if you can think of something to eat, they got it. Almost no exceptions.
Plus a lot of it is good stuff and for like $7 a person or maybe even less it's a HELL of a lot cheaper than what gets served at the hotel restaurants.

Something to gnash on while you watch Good Day, right? ;)
Sometimes I'll search out a local diner if I happen to get hungry at 3 am. But if I go to a deli, I usually have some tuna or chicken salad, maybe some turkey and/or a grilled chicken cutlet. But I can never resist a Hungry man either....
It's the metabolism...
I've stopped eating McDonalds, Burger King and Wendy's for the past three years or so (lunch wise). The breakfast is all right and I made one exception when Wendy's launched their new Fish Fillet...it killed my stomach.
It's your personal choice to not eat fast food and your parents should understand. They could just give you the money they would have spent on your portion and then after a month you can go up to them and say, "Hey Father and mother, this is the money you could all be saving if we did not eat out so much."
Then go and buy something you would like.
