What is your answering machine message?


Don't really need where you live or you social details ;) but what would you say is a standard message? But what is an acceptable sort of thing?

I'm considering changing mine but I'm not sure what to put normally I put on mine I don't answer unknown/private numbers. Would anyone consider this to be rude? (No it's not the only thing I put on my message).

Mine has a robotic voice saying "You have reached the voicemail for <insert number here>. Please leave a message after the tone."

Nobody ever leaves a message anyway, maybe they would if I made a real recording to greet them.

There are those people who do not like blocked calls. Some even have it rigged through their phone company to not let the call come through unless the number is unblocked. That is so hardcore. lol.

I have the standard one that came with the machine...a female robotic voice at that. Most of my calls are telemarketers who just hang up anyway. I love my answering machine.
