Ed McMahon, the top banana of second bananas, died peacefully early Tuesday morning at Los Angeles' Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, publicist Howard Bragman says.

He did not give a specific cause of death but did cite a "multitude of health problems the last few months."

Sad to hear, even sadder to hear of his problems these last few years, Poor guy.

oh wow I heard that on good day well mid day wit the people from good day on there. To actually think my brother went to school wit his grand daughter. Thats the only thing that sparked me wit a concern because I never really watched stuff wit him in it so yea /swt

A shame about Mr. McMahon. He was number one when it came to being a second banana. At least he and Johnny have been reunited up in heaven where they'll give everyone one heck of a show.

A second banana even in death. After Jackson died he's barely getting any notice it's just Jackson and Fawcett. Mostly Jackson.
