I usually don't pay equal attention to every separate block of text in these but the following caught my eye (kinda leapt out at me actually), and it struck me as more than a little unprofessional:

Those of you reading the news page or getting the feed know about these. And if you're not, WTF??? Enjoy!

I think a commercial enterprise like AN can/should express outrage or surprise a little better than the net hoi polloi.

I like it when companies know how to let loose a little. Are you actually offended by this?

I don't have to be offended to be bothered by it. I'm pretty sure that most businesses don't relax restrictions on the use of "profanity, or abbreviations thereof" on Casual Friday, with regards to customer interaction.

[bleep] sir, that [bleep] dress looks really good on your [bleep] wife. And so does my [bleep].

I like when businesses seem personal to a customer, but at the same time I don't think swearing in acronyms is the best business practice, as you say. However, I've gotten accustomed to hearing "wtf" in my head as "dubya tee eff", so it has lost its more profane meaning a long time ago.

It makes them look immature, in my opinion. I don't want the people I'm ordering stuff from to be immature, because if I have any problems, I'm done buying from them. I'm just a ***** like that, though.

I didn't realize selling cartoons was such SERIOUS BUSINESS. I like AN's updates personally because it shows that the staff is small but dedicated and enjoys their jobs, unlike other stores that are rather faceless or center around a single polarizing personality.

Hopefully the staff keeps doing what they do and doesn't change anything.

So people actually read our emails? :)

We promise not to swear at you anymore. Unless it's called for. In which case I'm sure you'll deserve it.
