The next episode preview confirms it. There should be a pretty awesome fight from out of nowhere.

As bad as this filler was, it wasn't half as bad as the last (with that Sora jerk). I was getting sick of the whole "you belong where people think of you" thing... seriously, what is it with filler constantly beating it's filler "theme" into you? Hopefully we'll have a nice long stretch of canon now.

The filler plot isn't that bad. Not manga =/= bad by default. I don't see what the big rush was. Even if they do all manga, Orochimaru is about to die and the series goes insanely downhill for a loooooooooooooooooooooooong time after that.

Until the Sasuke Itachi fight which isn't that far off. Then Sasuke fangirls will go delirious.
