Two words: Anal Sanctuary.

Despite not being into the tentacle rape stuff to begin with I was never against watching it until I saw Anal Sanctuary. I was so disgusted after watching it, from that moment forward I decided to skip any scenes in hentai that contained tentacles. I cant even look at pics that have tentacles in them for more than two seconds without turning my head. The same goes for any hentai/doujin that has bestiality and monsters in it. Only on very rare occasions can I stomach that stuff.

The funny thing is, scenes of extreme torture and violence whether it be 2d or live action wont phase me one bit, but show me a picture of tentacles and I'm immediately appalled.

To be honest, I don't see why most people would be disgusted by it, especially hentai/anime fans. I could understand someone getting grossed out by the scat eating but the beheading and everything else felt somewhat tame. But this is coming from a guy who watches and reads stuff with graphic violence and torture on a weekly basis.

I don't watch a lot of censored hentai so I have yet to see Ail Maniax, or Shitai wo Arau. I have seen Pigeon Blood and the only thing I found disturbing was the girl whose mouth was replaced with a vagina.

Even though I'm not a fan of guro and sex with mutilation I can stomach it. Its tentacles and monsters/animals that makes me want to throw up.

I don't know. I just thought it was interesting. But then again, there are things that gross us out just because we find them disgusting.

I think we are born without a repulsion towards almost anything. We are taught, either by authority figures or through bad experiences, that such things are disgusting.

Feces is an example. When we're very young, we have no disgust towards it. We touch it, play with it, some of us eat it, and we enjoy the feeling of with-holding it and expelling it. Not soon after, we suddenly feel the opposite about it: it's dirty, disgusting, shameful, not something to talk about. Unlike pretty much every other fetish under the sun, no one questions the taboo, either.

Blood, gore, violence, and rape may come from instinct (our natural need for survival, fear of pain/death) or sympathy for the victim(s).

Vomit is an instinct. When someone near us vomits, we often feel the urge to vomit, too. Perhaps, in ancient times, this was because we would have all eaten the same meal, and if it was harmful enough for one person's body to need to be expelled like that, our body clued in that it was harmful for ours, too, and did the same.

Society also likes to try and cover up the sides of us that are animals, the beasts within us all we can't control. Poop, pee, puke, blood, and the lack-of-beauty of the insides of our bodies are something beyond our control and fear/repulsion of them can be linked to a fear of losing control, of chaos, or of the fact that we are not the completely divine and pure beings like we want to think we are.

I don't think we find anything disgusting "just because it is". I'm into questioning every taboo.
