Favorite character in FMA?

Since I basically just came to realize that my favorite character in FMA is Col. Mustang (after 44 episodes- it just sort of crept up on me), I was just wondering who everyone else liked the best in FMA?

I like Roy because in spite of his stoic demeanor he's a guy who really cares- cares so much that he will make some tough decisions to do the right thing, like not telling the Elric brothers of Hughes' death. I respect his absolute resolve to rise in the ranks, which is not for his own power, but so he's not in the position of having to follow orders he considers unethical- something he learned from Ishbal- and to fulfill an obligation to Hughes.

Secondly, he's clever. He is not someone that's easy to pull the wool over his eyes, and he always has a plan. Loved the way he faked Lt. Ross's death in the manga...

And it doesn't hurt that he can lay down the gauntlet with his flame alchemy when necessary. Causing explosions just by snapping your fingers is pretty cool...

I have to say I like Roy too.

I always liked he and Hawkeye and thought they made a real good couple. Those two got chemistry.

I also realize that I like Al too. Ed's cool but something about Al's expressions despite being in armor is cute and funny at times.

I like the two bothers Al and Ed. Ed's pretty kicka**, and also has smarts, whilst I find Al's human form cute...

Though Hawkeye and even Scieska I find attractive.

I like Dante from the original series. I like your Sith Lord style characters who stay in the background but are like the cause and catalyst behind every sorrowful or interesting thing that happens. Plus she was a really good Alchemist and she was cold hearted.

For the manga and the new series, Crimson Alchemist before he gets his suit. Once he gets his suit, his personality kinda calms down but before that he's like this blood thirsty psycho who always seems like he's right on the edge of losing it.

That was one of the few things I remembered from the end when it was on Adult Swim (and kind of prompted me to get the series and rewatch it)...in the last episode there's a really sweet scene with those two.

haha. There are always really sweet scenes between those two. I can't see it not becoming canon eventually, even though it IS a shonen.

hm...well, if this wasn't clear before, I like Riza the best, I just love her character. =) Havoc is pretty damn amazing too though.

My favs are Ed and Lust. Though I have a liking for everyone in the series, some not as amuch as the other.

For me, it's Edward Elric. I love to see how he reacts when someone calls him "kid" or "little brat." :D
Plus his abilities are one of a kind. You can't even tell that he's a kid.
