I'm overdue for a new ski jacket and I thought I could get some opinions from you guys on the matter. I need something that is waterproof, highly wind resistant, comfortable, and most of all durable. I'm avoiding The North Face this time around, because of all the goddamn Yuppies and preppy high school kids who've made it into a fashion (Thus causing the brand not to cater to the quality of the clothes, but the style in order to please the little rich *****es who buy it because it's expensive and they want to look cool...).
I have really been looking into Mountain Hardware apparel, because some friends of mine who are veteran backpackers swear by it. I had a sweat wicker from Mountain Hardware and it's lasted me some time now.
Here's what I've been going for so far (http://www.mountainhardwear.com/Product.aspx?top=1621&prod=2284&cat=1628&viewAll=False)
Any other suggestions?
