ThePhillyFlash

After almost 70 years spent juggling Betty and Veronica, Archie will finally decide which girl he loves most this summer! Not only that----HE'S GONNA MARRY HER!! See for yourself here:

Boys and girls, the apocalypse is finally upon us!

Who are y'all rooting for? For some reason, I am leaning towards Betty. She seems a somewhat better match for Archie.

I had to LOL about this when I saw it, but it was a lot of people's first exposure to comics . . . .

I'm so disappointed. Not even in comics can people avoid getting married. And having to stay with just one. That's lame. Say no to marriage kids.

Marriage is not so bad. I've been married for seven years, and I've loved every day of it. It's just a matter of finding the right person that's compatible with you. But, I freely admit it's not for everyone . . .

I'm voting for Betty, 'cause I think Veronica would make a better match for Jughead.

This is all a conspiracy, gingers are soulless and thus can't get married.

I think it'd be better if Betty and Veronica ditched the loser and finally admitted how much they love each other.

That's great for Archie..congratulations. I hope it's Betty.

ThePhillyFlash

I've always been partial to Betty and hopes Archie will pick her since Veronica's a spoiled, selfish *****. In fact, Veronica reminds me of Sae Kashiwagi from Peach Girl, and anime fans know how totally unlikeable she is!

Betty is manipulative, but so is Veronica. Archie should choose the hidden third option. You know, an actual nice girl. Mind you, he's not so great of a character himself. He's not exactly bad, but he's shallow and fickle.

To be fair, Archie's got over 50 years on Tenchi...

Besides which, Tenchi doesn't -need- to make a choice, just do as his great grandfather did and marry 'em both.

They could get married and become swingers, that away everybody's happy.

I still read Archie. I used to collect the magazines, I had like a big pile of them. Archie, Jughead, Betty and Veronica, Laugh Digest. I actually think I owned that one with the infamous "I had to beat off three other guys!" line

I almost spit out my coffee when I read that post. Good show.

I used to read Archie back in the day, when I was a kid and they sold the comics at the local corner store. I mean, I'm curious, but then again who really cares about Archie anymore? Betty and Veronica set the Women's Rights Movement back YEARS.

Why argue about 2 girls when he can have twins?

He could move to Utah and marry both of them.

... he will marry Veronica, but since its a 6-part thing, they'll probably show what will happen if he marries Betty.

my money is on Cheryl Blossom. RAWR.

Wow....*can't believe people (YOUNG PEOPLE!) read Archie*

I read it a few times and I even remember watching some old cartoon show about Archie but I was like, 8 years old.

I believe that was from an issue of Betty and Me from the late 60's. Took ten years for me to figure out the sexual connotation from that line! :P

Oh, as for The Archies, I do believe Reggie played bass for the band.

I remember watching the cartoon show when I was young but then I just stopped watching TV because everything that was good on TV vanished and no longer did I need to watch TV. There are times when I turn on the TV to watch some shows but I rarely watch TV now a days. I miss the good old TV days.

HA! That's funny! And oh, so true too! This decision by Archie only served to verify what I've always known about ol' freckleface, that he's a shameless golddigger who's always wanted to cozy up to the Lodge millions and that love came in second place. Not that I like Ronnie, never have, never will, but she had damn well better see about getting a prenup!

Yeah, they got hitched in '96.

And she's known that he's Clark Kent since the early 90s.
