Which Sanin is better?

I don't know if this has already been posted, but who is your favourite sanin?
Jiraiya, Orochimaru, or Tsunade

For me, Jiriaya!

I vote Orochimaru with Tsunade being second.

I've always liked Orochimaru. He's cold and calculating, but he's not a jerk. I also like how all of his jutsu are kinda repulsive. He vomits up swords and snakes and crazy stuff like that. He's an all around weird guy. Plus he's really strong. He was able to hold his own against Tsunade and Jiraiya when he couldn't even move his arms.

Then there is the progress that Sasuke made under his watch. All that Jiraiya taught Naruto was how to get his butt kicked. 3 days of training with the frogs was better than like 3 years of training with Jiraiya.

Well, with 3 years of training also came three years of a close and strong bond. Far stronger than what Orochimaru achieved with Sasuke. I don't know about you guys, but if I had to choose between Jiraiya or Orochimaru for a mentor, I would choose Jiraiya. Yes, I did not mention Tsunade, because an overwhelming majority of the guys would choose her instead.:)

Did he go train to become a better ninja or to be best friends for life with Jiraiya? I'd go with Orochimaru or Tsunade for training any day of the week. If Jiraiya trains you in the same way that he trained Naruto, you don't learn anything. You learn more from training in 2 days with Kakashi and Yamato or some frogs than you do in 3 years with Jiraiya.

That's not a good teacher. A teacher who is your friend but doesn't actually teach you anything should be fired.

I think you can see for yourself just how much better Naruto's skills became after training with Jiraiya, both before and after the timeskip. Also, without going through those years of training with Jiraiya, he would not have been able to endure the quick element training with Kakashi nor would he have been able to maintain the concentration for the Sage mode training. Sure, techniques are necessary, but as it's been stated in the series, the strength of a shinobi isn't measured by the number of techniques that they have.

That aside, if I were to have a mentor that I would have to live and travel with for that period of time, I would much rather prefer one like Jiraiya rather than some guy who's made it clear that he wants my body.:P Tsunade's okay now after Naruto made an impact on her, but before that she didn't have the heart that Jiraiya has.

Jiariya was the strongest for very simple reasons that some people seem to overlook:

Who was Orochimaru scared to fight? Uchiha Itachi
Who was Kisame and Itachi scared to fight and knew they couldn't win unless they used big brested women? Jiraiya.

Then again though..one could argue Tsunade could show her breasts and he would be done for...though I will not go there.

In all fairness, Tsunade lives her life in a fortress surrounded by hundreds of Anbu ops. Orochimaru is out their in caves dodging Akatsuki and trying to pick them off one by one and having to constantly be on the look out for other people coming after him. Jiraiya is out there taking on the critical village saving missions that Tsunade won't.

Her being alive isn't a win by default imo.

Are you referring to where Naruto loses control, puts the mission at risk and severely injures his team mates or the time where he and 3 other Ninjas fought the apprentice of Orochimaru and got beaten with minimal effort?
