Chapter 445 *Spoilers*

Nagato talks about almost starving to death, meeting up with Konan and Yahiko. Letter bomb drop near them and killed their dog. It was Hanzo and the 3 sennin fighting. Yahiko's dream was to become God to stop war and it became Nagato's dream as well.

I sometimes wonder if people simply read words with not understanding of what they actually say or mean in terms of their context.

Well, since it's a flashback, it has to be taken as a part of the whole, not just a chapter in itself. It was the same way with Sasuke's flashbacks way back when we just wanted to see both he and Naruto go at it.

I thought it was nice to see some of the struggles that they went through. It sort of makes you appreciate them meeting up with Jiraiya moreso than you may have before. It also shows just how nice of a guy Jiraiya was. Willingly spent three years of his life raising and teaching three orphans, and he didn't do a shabby job either since they managed to make something out of it... even though it was the opposite of what Jiraiya would've wanted them to do.

was it three years he was with them? I thought it was only a few months at tops

It was three years. I believe they were around 9 when he found them, and then he raised them to the age of 12. Also, there's almost no way that he would've been able to train them to the point in which they learned elemental jutsu, because, as we've been told, that takes years for a character to master it.

This chapter makes things clear because this chapter discuss why pain was created and why Nagato want's to destoy Konoha. Its very sad to hear the story of Nagato. His parents died because of an accident i wish konoha was a bit more careful on what they'll do before they act. :D

So I wonder how Yahiko is going to die, any bets? I say he gets killed trying to save either or both Nagato and Konan.
