I'm looking for a list of character and uniform types in hentai for a presentation. Note that I do not include age groups (loli, shouta, older woman/MILF) as falling under this. "Animal ears" is also a separate category. I'm aware that this list could become endless, so please only suggest it if you've seen it n at least four titles. Knowing the Japanese terms and what they translate to exactly is a big bonus to me.

This is my list so far:

Office lady (OL)

Nurse (kangofu)

What about sexy/revealing super-hero outfit? My examples are Angel Blade and the girls from Twin Angels, if you count them as super heros.

You've been here long enough to know that our local god of hentai knowledge (http://www.animenation.net/forums/member.php?u=16050) has a list of these things, including Japanese terms.

What about sexy/revealing super-hero outfit? My examples are Angel Blade and the girls from Twin Angels, if you count them as super heros.

That would be magical girls ("mahou shoujo"), one I forgot.

• Rhythmic Gymnastics (leotards (レオタード: "reotaado")—see under Sports)
• Yukata (under Kimono)

Not meeting the minimum (only one each):

• Elevator girls (エレベーターガール "erebeitaa gaaru"): Kininaru Kimochi episode 1
• Tour conductors (添乗員: "tenjouin"; ツアーコンダクター: "tsuaa kondakutaa" ("tour conductor")): Dark Tours

Other possibilities (taken from the Getchu.com genre and fetish glossary): Gothic Lolita, bloomers (girls' gym shorts, as opposed to sailor fuku), and warrior princesses. (I'm assuming that you are listing Playboy-type bunny girls under "animal ears".)

I'm not sure if this is off-topic or not, and if it is, my bad. But what's your favorite outfit? Mine is probably a bondage outfit, because it's the most revealing outfit I can think of. By the way, is that on the list? Also, what does a 'broken doll' outfit look like? Post a censored pic on here maybe? ;-)

This is a staple of the genre, and still happens to be my favorite as well. Nothing has beat it for me so far. ^_^

I would have to say school uniforms, nurses, or maids. Can't really decide. If the school uniform includes shimapan, then it wins :D

Age isn't a factor—from the Yuribou Hentai Dictionary v.2.0:

A fetish fairly reminiscent of Rei Ayanami in Neon Genesis Evangelion. i.e. involving young girls in bandages, casts, medical equipment and various other paraphenalia. Oh, did I mention that they had to be naked? Originated from Frenchman Romain Slocombe who "has an obsession with accidents" in his words. see also [iryou-fetchi] (sic)
The image of Shana just happened to be the first acceptable one that I found.

Another: "spats" (スパッツ), "leggings and similar skintight garments concealing, or attempting to conceal, the lower half of the body" (quoting Sankoku Complex). JDIC: "スパッツ (n) gaiters; leggings; tights; spats; (P)"; "スパッツタイツ (n) tights (wasei: spats tights); footless tights".

("P" = "'Priority' entry, i.e. among approx. 20,000 words deemed to be common in Japanese".)
