Seriously. So, so, so good for sports and excerise. Can match some energy drinks, but with 1/10 as much kcals.

Great source of Potassium too. Helps your muscles from tightening up.

Awesome, didn't know that. Seeing as I'm trying to build a buff figure, that will come in handy.

Bananas, along with apples, are some of the most overeaten fruits. Better complement that with some oranges, pears, watermelon, or strawberries, and throw in a granola bar. For a start. Bringing in a bit of diversity to eating fruit is always a good idea.
Also, calories don't mean anything. It's the nutrients you should be looking at. Energy drinks typically have boatloads of caffeine in them, so I wouldn't recommend them as an exercise drink. Gatorade is much better in this regard.

They do when you're try to lose fat. I'm dangerously tip-toeing along the line between "Overweight" and "Ideal weight"

Tis true. Certain fruits, based on what you're trying to obtain for your body are better for you. Apples are pretty much awesome no matter what. Kiwi's are good too. Although, like any food, its best to moderate it. You can have a banana, but having a bunch of bananas in like, an hour or ONLY eating fruit for a diet. Its not good for you.

Yeah. I should have added "In moderation"
Like, if you're gonna do some sports or something, but you're hungry beforehand, eat a bannana.

Actually, if you're going to be exercising, something with protein about an hour beforehand is better. That, or Green Tea.

I should try that. I'll get some green tea next time I go out.

No, calories are unimportant because you're going to be burning them anyway as you exercise. You can use them as a reference if you want, but you can ignore them in the long run. They're only useful if you hate to exercise, or you don't exercise enough.
Loading up on protein and carbs before and after exercising is excellent practice. Exercising on an empty stomach is about the worst thing you can do.

But the one golden rule for weight loss is to use more kcals a day than you take in.
So it's important to keep tabs IMO.

No. Try eating just before you go to sleep.
But other than that I agree, exceriseing on an empty stomach has maximal fat loss but it aslo has maximal muscles loss, and can make you fatigued easily.

Indeed, but just in case anyone misinterprets the latter, Reidar mentioned that you're not supposed to eat after exercising because... well, I'll just link you to his post (http://www.animenation.net/forums/showpost.php?p=6262325&postcount=21).

What he says though contradicts another handy tidbit: to workout in the morning, so your metabolism is roaring all day. So, you'd be working out, but not eating after you workout? They also say that you eat less after working out.
Its all relative. There are so many contradicting rules when it comes to diet and exercise. Its pretty mind-boggling.

After long, strenuous workouts, drink chocolate milk. I know, most people think "hydration," but you can hydrate whenever. Chocolate milk is a natural protein shake for your body, and your body will "want" the nutrients from it, and will absorb them more efficiently if you drink it in a 20 minute window.

And if you have green tea before you workout, its the same effect. Well, almost. It burns more calories when you workout. But then, its the real green tea. Heating up water, bag in mug, ect.

I always eat before going to sleep. You gain weight more easily, but your body uses the extra nutrients, and that's overall better to maintain your health. In the morning you're in a catabolic state, and you want to minimize that. So eating something healthy before going to bed is a good idea. I don't know about you, but waking up in the middle of the night feeling hungry isn't a pleasant feeling.

Yeah, you're digging into body reserves, which is never good for training. Fat loss is a result of cardio workout. Just don't run on an empty stomach.

What he says though contradicts another handy tidbit: to workout in the morning, so your metabolism is roaring all day. He also mentioned that this isn't the case; exercising before eating breakfast is a huge no-no. Here (http://www.animenation.net/forums/showpost.php?p=6262310&postcount=14).
There are so many contradicting rules when it comes to diet and exercise. Its pretty mind-boggling. Tell me about it. When I was younger and interested in getting fit, I was surrounded by frustrating myths. My older brother and 3rd grade teacher told me weight training before adulthood stunts your growth, but for some reason, "regular exercising" such as pushups and pullups don't. Then I was told that pushups are a worthless exercise and that I might as well not even bother.
And I can't forget my favorite: "Squats damages your knees," which is completely and utterly false.
Anyway, I'd listen to Reidar. He's an educated guy, and along with the muscle mass, he's got some reliable sources to back up his claims.

For me at least, eating before you go to bed is like the personifiction of the devil. I can eat a gram of celery right before I climb into bed, and wake up morbidly obese. It also makes me feel MORE hungry when I wake up.

There are only two things that I know about bananas.
They are their own 'relevant product market' and are almost impossible to eat entirely unsuggestively.
