A hairdresser from the small Russian town of Meshchovsk has subdued a man who tried to rob her shop, and then raped him for three days in the utility room, Life.ru reports.
The incident occurred on Saturday, March 14. The working day was coming to an end at a small hairdressers, when a man armed with a gun rushed in and demanded the day’s earnings.
The frightened employees and customers agreed to fulfill his demand, but when the shop’s owner, 28-year-old Olga, was handing the money to the robber, she suddenly knocked him down on the floor and then tied him up with a hairdryer cord. The 32-year-old Viktor couldn’t have known that the woman was a yellow belt in karate.

Olga locked the unlucky robber in the utility room and told her colleagues that she was going to call the police – but didn’t do so. When everybody left home, she approached the man and ordered him to ‘take of his underpants’ threatening to hand him over to the police if he refuses to cooperate.
After that Olga raped her hostage for three long days. She chained Viktor to the radiator with pink furry handcuffs and fed him Viagra.
She eventually let the man go on Monday, March 16, saying: “Get out of my sight!”
Viktor went straight to hospital as his genitals were injured, and then to the police.
Olga was resentful when she was taken by the police.
“What a bastard,” the woman said about Viktor. “Yes, we had sex a couple of times. But I’ve bought him new jeans, gave him food and even gave him 1.000 roubles (around $ 30) when he left.”
After that she wrote a notice to the police claiming the man tried to rob her shop.
Both Olga and Viktor may now face prison terms. The woman could be convicted of rape, while the man of robbery.

Oooo unsafe ground debating male/female rape willingness vs female/male rape willingness, i don't think the quote clarified whether he was willing at any point.
Simply put, him attempting to rob her doesn't make her rape forgivable, it's still quite a serious crime.

It's considered rape if you dodn't consent to have sex.
You might as well say that this or that woman was "asking for it" because she wore a short skirt.
You seem to be suggesting that by trying to rob someone's shop you are consenting to sex. How you got from a to b is an utter mystery to me.

Not because of the news story itself, but because of the comments. However you make a good point on the rape part if the guy raped the woman. If it was a woman robing the place and with the right convencing story...i could see the public and media in blind rage over the guy then the girl and it may even get her some slack in the courts.

That's where I stand. He should be thankful that she didn't **** him to death.
If it was a woman who barged into a place of business that a man ran, and the man apprehended her and raped her, I'd be inclined to believe she equally had it coming.
If he was a customer, and she took him to the back and raped him against his will, that'd be one thing. I'm not ready to commit to the nosebleed section of the moral high ground today.

I think she should receive the same punishment as a man in this same circumstance, just for the Law's sake. Rape is complete violation of body. That's just one side of the spectrum though. It could have went the other way with him taking the money, and then ending up raping and/or killing her. You never know with some people, and if you have the mentality to actually wanna rob a person, you just don't know what that person is capable of after that.
Look, where the laws stands, both of them are wrong and deserve to face whatever penalties they get but personally, from my moral perspective, there's no way in hell I feel sorry for this guy. Not one bit.
