He then sees Jiraiya's death and how Kakashi died from Nagato.

Nagato[Thoughts?]: I try to manipulate Naruto and take him back, but Naruto is resisting the black rod.

Konan: To repel Nagato's chakra at this range, what a kid.

Naruto: [I don't get what he's saying, sorry]
Naruto's eyes turn into frog + Kyuubi eyes

Naruto: I can't forgive you, I want to kill you right now!

He charges at Nagato

But he stops just before him.

Naruto: I don't know anything about you, why do you hate [Konoha]?
Talk to me!

So Nagato starts talking

I have two pain[ful events], one of them is my parents being killed

Then Nagato begins talking about his past

At the height of the Great Ninja War, we had been too late at escaping, so we were hiding at our family's house.
Two ninjas came into our house.

They were searching for some food

Nagato's parents: Nagato, you need to hide.
Then they charge at the two ninja

The ninja: They're enemies.
They kill his parents instantly.
The ninja: There's one more around here.
The ninja search for food
They look at the corpses
The ninja: They were just civilians, huh
The ninja are killed[?]
[Someone?:] Why, in the middle of battle, would you [kill] civilians... Sorry, kiddo

At that moment, lighting strikes outside, and what Nagato sees, is a Konoha headband

Nagato: UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAH

And then, the Rinnengan is activated

Not only that, he has matured to the point of having the self-control to not lose himself to his emotions in the face of those who've caused him so much pain.

I doubt it. After reading the chapter confirms my opinion that Naruto is drawing the Kyuubi's chakra unconsciously, similar to the time when he fouight Hakuu. He' so livid his eyes are about to pop out of his head. This may be a glimpse at what is to come down the road, but not now.

Wow, Naruto proves once again, that in anime/manga, if you are a parent, you are doomed. Just kill yourself, as you will surely die soon. This is how it should go..

So he hate Konoha because they killed his parents, but he liked Jiraiya. I'm thinking his Rinnegan activated and he killed both Konoha shinobi and then lost his memory that he did anything.

SO far, Pain/Nagato is a pretty disappointing villian with a disappointing background and with very lame reasons to be one:

1. Parents dead? SO F'N WHAT!! He's not the only one who has that problem.

2. Best friend dead? See above.



THe only thing that would make me understand/feel his "pain" is:

1. He was raped or saw Konan get raped.

2. He found love and she...or he....*barfs*.. died.

3. He stock in the NYSE collapsed.

4. His dog and cat were ran over or kidnapped and sold to Chinese resturants.

5. He has a small "manhood" and it never "matured".

6. He was forced to listen to terrible music (ex: Paris Hilton, K-Fed, Jonas Bros., Yoko Ono, RATM, etc)

7. His favorite band spit up.

8. His favorite movie didnt win an Oscar.

9. He watched the Uwe Boll films....all of them in fact.

10. He was fed up with higher taxes.


I mean, I could go on, but if those 2 reasons he mentioned are why he is what he is, then THAT is lame.

I have heard from a reliable source (the same source who 2 months ago told me Kishi was thinking of making pein destroy Konoha however I didnt tell you because I thought he was chatting rubbish) that this is the true source of the second lot of pain Pein suffered

What they did was like in Time Crisis and Virtual Cop. You'll be in the middle of an intense firefight and then civilians pop up from behind a barrel and scream out, "DON'T SHOOT".

Actually, thats a bad analogy. What Pain's parents did is more like playing Time Crisis, being in the middle of a shootout and then civilians pop up from behind a barrel and start charging at you with a knife out ready to kill.

This wasn't like a family cowering in the corner and getting laid out. In fact, judging by what the soliders of Konoha said, had they been cowering in a corner or at least shown that they weren't armed and hostile, they would still be alive today.

I'm not saying it's fair his parents died, but they did make like the dumbest moves possible. If there was a list of what not to do in order to be a civilian casualty, Pain's parents basically did the opposite of that.
