Well, as the saying goes: "If it walks like a duck, swims like a duck, quacks like a duck, and rapes same-sex corpses like a duck, it must be Dutch."
Kinda gives new meaning to that term 'going dutch', doesn't it?
Girl (at restaurant): "Wanna go dutch?"
Guy (eyeballing the duck platter at the next table) "Mmmm... yeah..."

Oh I doubt that this was the first case. It's just the first time the press found out.
...I was going to make a Mallard-y joke but I've got to draw the line somewhere.

I'm sure I've heard this story somewhere before, actually... just can't recall how or where.

So Jeffrey Dahmer was reborn as a duck.

Poor Bird. Crashed into a building trying to escape a Gay Raper Duck. Not saying there's anything wrong with homosexual ducks...Speaking of, 2-to-19%, that's a pretty good number. Can you imagine the sermon at some country church...
Preacher: “And, the Lord gazed down upon the Earth and saw that the Duck, in his homosexuality, hath made a conscious decision to deviate from the Path of Good and Righteousness. And the Lord saith unto the Duck, “Bird, thou art foul, and so shalt be thy name and thine brothers’ names.
Preacher's Son: “No, Pappy, not that ‘foul.’ There’re two of them, they’re called homophones.”
Preacher: “Yes, son, that’s another way of saying ‘curvy.’ The heathen bird’s webbed feet will be of no use to him in the Lake of Fire!”
What's crazy is the Attempted Rape Flight. See, this kind of thing wouldn't happen if there were Duck Feminists. *Nods* Well, maybe not, but...I've heard of stuff like this before with dolphins.
Oh, the stuff about the homosexual ducks not getting physical with their gay partner, but attempting to "have at it" with other male ducks.

The scientific community =/= "the press." You apparently didn't click the link. Or you think scholarly articles are the same as human interest local news stories.

I was making a joke. Like this occurrence was a raunchy tabloid story about the seemingly goody-goody bread-wouldn't-melt-in-it's-bill duck. Never mind.
It could be argued that anything published in print counts as the portion of the mass media of communications known as "the press". Never mind.

I seem to recall hearing about this on the Preston and Steve morning show 3 or 4 years ago.
Old news is old.

I still fail to see the scientific implications of this. I can watch films of bunnies raping drakes on you tube and there is no real scientific value unless you are a furry posing as a behavioral scientist.
