Would you get upset if you found out that your boyfriend/husband/significant other watched hentai? If so, why?

For the record, I have a boyfriend who watches hentai and I do not have a problem with it. In fact, we occasionally watch hentai together.

Probably not, unless it was like...yaoi tentacle rape or something weird like that.

It's like any other porn out there: you know they have it, you know they watch it, and you probably have some yourself anyway.

Yea, I'd probably have a problem with lilo also. Only because of the legal issues attached to it. Also, it's terrible.

Not really, I wouldn't mind as well..I agree with you both on that regard. As long as it's not something really weird that he would find pleasure in-like pedophilic and overly sadistic scenes/hentais (just like what you mentioned with, yaoi, loli and tentacle rape) like with Blackmail.

Nah. Just as long as it doesn't take away from his desire for me, I'm quite fine with him looking at whatever he feels like, as long as it's not something that will get him/us in trouble with the law.

Yeah, I knew this girl who broke up with a perfectly good boyfriend just because she found out he watched hentai. She said she felt like he was "cheating on her." I said, "But those women he's watching aren't REAL! They don't call him or hold his hand during a sad movie. They aren't real!" She didn't get it.

I'm so glad to hear that there are more open-minded women out there. It makes me happy. :-)

I've known a couple of ladies like myself who have watched Hentai with their boyfriends like; Class Reunion and Wordsworth. A friend got some tips from CR and used the positions. I watch it with a boyfriend but not engage anything. I also refuse to watch anything with too much toys, fluid spraying, or gag devices in their mouths. Not a fan of bondage rape either. I tend to watch the "lighter" hentai with good storylines. This has been a major turn-around for me since three years ago I would have squirmed and gagged if I saw anything more than a kiss in anime.

I have no problem with it at all. Heck, I'd be worried if he DIDN'T watch some hentai or porn every now and then. It's make me wonder if he didn't have a sex drive or was just waaaay too conservative. My boyfriend thinks it's kinda funny that I have the hentai collection and he doesn't have any (he just downloads it). But I know he watches it and it doesn't make me angry at all. I think the girls that do get angry are just overly insecure or stupidly prudish. They dont know how to have any fun! Just my opinion, though.

I'd ask what kind of hentai it was. Chances are, I enjoy grosser stuff than he does. I know I'm more perverted than most of my male friends are.

No, it wouldn't bother me at all unless my husband starts obsessing about it and stops paying attention to me. I would kick him into the curb until he learned his lesson. :lol: (j/k, I'm being sarcastic, but I would be mad) I'm not really into hentai myself unless it has a real story of romance inside. Shoujo-ai has alot of romance and that is something I've always enjoyed.

I doubt your husband would do that , (unless he happens to be an secret womanizer) since the kind of stuff that you like/prefer/your'e talking about isnt really hentai . coming from another thread, i find it sad to see that the lines of fantasy and reality are still too blurred and there are people who think that animated characters are real.... and there are still other people who think they it is their divine duty to expose and condenm those who like it as if they were lepers . BTW I dont think we have evolved too much as a society

My husband watches Hentai on a normal basis and most of the time its with me anyways, so it doesn't bother me. I don't think even if I found him watching yaoi it would bother me. What would bother me is him watching porn. I see a huge difference in Hentai and porn. Personally I think porn is a disgrace to the human body and I refuse to watch it and I have told my husband time and time again I disapprove of it. Hentai on the other hand is wonderful because its not real... So I can find pleasure in knowing that I don't have to worry.
