In regards to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. Okay, so there's a card in it and its original Japanese name is called Hurricane. A name which makes sense because of its effect of returning all magic & trap cards on the field back to their owner's hands. Now for whatever reason in the English version, they changed the name of this card to Giant Trunade.

What a weird name. So since I've never heard the word Trunade before and wondered if it wasn't a real word or what it meant, I googled it. The first result I found for it was Urban Dictionary.com and I looked at the definition.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Trunade

Apparently Trunade is a word for a really gay man.

So really... the card should be called Giant Really Gay Man. For a company that does so much to edit out any material on these cards that parents might find offensive such as religious objects, references, or nudity, how did this one slip past the radar? Kinda funny too considering there's a giant face in the middle of the card. That must be the Really Giant Gay Man right?

My initial impression is - you only found out about the card Giant Trunade now? That's been around since the first season and was in the first deck of Yu-Gi-Oh cards that became available.

When I look past that... LOL.

A few years ago the Make-a-Wish-Foundation asked this dying kid named Tyler what he wanted. He wanted to make his own yugioh card.

So the dying, 14 year old terminal boy drew his own card. Tyler the Great Warrior (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Tyler_the_Great_Warrior)

Someone on answers yahoo had one thing to say about this (translated from 12 year old aoler speak to real people talk):

"It's not for sale, it was only produced once and Tyler Plimbings has it, the only copy. He can even use it in duels, sucks for me because I faced him at SJC. I lost. Kid got lucky. He said he was dying to get rid of that card, was willing to sell it for 6,000,000,000."

A poster on a yugioh forum once said he was offered up to $1,000,000 for it.

If he was dying a few years ago how is he dueling?

"My desire for vengance was so great that even hell itself could not hope to contain it..."

Also, LOL at the Trunade thing.

You know the ONLY place where that definition exists is urban dictionary, right? Someone's fooling with you and you fell for it.

I know, urban dictionary started out great, but people began making up words and putting randomass definitions in, so now I don't really believe it all that much.

You have to look at the ratings. That Trunade definition just has 1 thumbs down. If a definition is accurate it will have more thumbs up than down.
