um, if a robot tolled you to jump off a cliff, would you?

Seriously, that has to be the dumbest thing to do when following a piece of navigational equipment.

Is the driver blind? or just stupid?

Hmm .. Guy drives his BMW right off a cliff .. so what's he gonna say to the judge.. "I'm a moron who can't tell the difference between a road and a swamp" or "Well the GPS tried to kill me I swear!"?

If it wasent for a fence infront of the cliff that stopped his car, he would have.

game over man. game over. Wrong movie quote. lol. (that was from aliens not terminator) But still it was funny.

Ok time to activate walt's serious mode. 3..2..1..beep.

Ok now i gotta say this is messed up and before you guys start calling this guy a maron..why don't we try to connect the dots here.

I gotta be honest theres times where i print out directions on Yahoo maps to get me to places i've never been before. Sometimes the maps are off and then sometimes the spots happen to be off the map!

Theres nothing more frustrating then relying on equipment you trust to be defective.

I bet this spot wasn't even covered when they programed the NAV system and instead used an old map to just program it in. In the story they say he makes a living as a driver right? He wasn't intoxicated. Still it makes me wonder how much of the time the guy was looking at the road. What about road conditions and speed limit? It happened in the morning so it couldn't have been dark..maybee it was foggy or heavy rain?

Still a painful lesson to learn and thank god for the guy thats all it was. So yeah i'm gonna take a swing at you guys and i'm gonna say this..Yes I'm defending this guy.

Why? I don't belive this guy is an idiot or maron. He may have made a poor choice but who hasn't done that!? I truly belive he got screwed by his navagational equipment. Hopefully the judge will understand that too and maybe cut the guy some slack.

This was defently messed up and it does make me wonder how many more accidents around the world are/could be caused because of the NAV system? Just makes me a little curious. :(

I'm all for technology, but you gotta have some common sense as well. Obviously he should have been paying better attention to the road. I mean, couldnt he see where he was going?
