But in the visible Light spectrum there is no Black or White, but they are still visible.

you can say that true colors are shades of other colors, the lighter colors like Yellow, being the white of the color wheel, and Blue being the black of the color wheel, while red could be either or.

But in the visible Light spectrum there is no Black or White, but they are still visible.

I’m well aware of that…however all of my art teachers considered it shades…(maybe it's an art thing?? Then again that was high school and it’s been awhile….who knows… ) and not what science says which is):

1. Black is the absence of color (and is therefore not a color.)
2. White is the blending of all colors and is a color...(The sum of all the colors of light add up to white.)
