I think naruto is disgusting because of the violence. Here you can share your opinion of naruto without fighting. I only like the characters, but not the story of the naruto anime series. Get off my bridge!

If you don't like violence, why not watch something more mellow than shounen anime, like some aria or something.

Im not a fan of naruto either but i am a fan of violence.

Also, isnt there a naruto forum..

It's a good thing I'm inept in a first grader's writing level, or else I would be quite disappointed with this lack of correct spelling. The forum has its own spell check. You should do us all a favor and make use of it please.

here you can share your opinion of naruto without fighting.

Or you could just share it here.

That's like saying you like cheeseburgers, but without the cheese. Speaking of cheese...

If you don't like fighting I would suggest that you stay away from shonen fight anime. Fighting is an expected part of the genre.

I wonder if she thinks Super Smash Bros Brawl is violent and disgusting? I mean it's the same thing, a bunch of guys and girls beating each other up.

FYI, her first thread was talking about how much she loves Smash Bros.

A guy I work with at lunch will always order 'the cheeseburger without cheese'. We ask him why he wont just order a hamburger?

On topic: The violence in Naruto is mild at best. I can see where the story would be for everyone. But I dont see the point in bringing it up. There are a lot of stories I dont like either... so... I dont watch them or talk about them... o_O

Opinions are opinions, I haven't found Naruto to be all that interesting as to me it is another run of the mill DBZ genre.

Don't get me wrong DBZ was awesome, but people only liked it for the epic battles, and the character development went too quickly in my opinion (you had Vegita and then Super Vegita in a matter of a few episodes, and then further on to something stronger.

I am a person who love variety, DBZ is good for a fight but Anime is not all entirely about fighting, so yeah.

We ask him why he wont just order a hamburger?I have a friend who always orders a McD's cheeseburger, but then removes the pickles and onions himself. I asked him why he doesn't just order it without them on it, and he says he likes the flavor they leave on the burger, but doesn't actually want to eat them. To each his own.

I've no problem with the series personally. I'm used to more violence in anime and movies in general. Like any series, it's not made for everyone and that's okay.

As an aside, if the violence is a bit much for you, then I would kindly suggest you stick to the edited episodes. :naughty:

And this matters because...? I can forgive spelling and grammar errors as long as I can understand what the basic message is. We're on a public forum full of diverse people. There is nothing literary or academic about this forum. Proper grammar and spelling would be obviously ideal but this is not the place for such comments.

There is some logic in your friend's method. It's like cooking with garlic for flavor but not eating it outright. It's been sometime since I stopped eating at that particular establishment though.

SOME true statements here.
DBZ was a good show. I liked the original Dragonball better though. The character development happened throughout the series itself after the new characters were main staples(ie Vegeta). We found out a lot about his past in the Frieza Saga. For the main heroes, most of their backgrounds were touched in DB.

However, Naruto has it's own following of sorts and that's not surprising with long, mainstream manga. It has a different feeling than DBZ did and it has peaked my interest. I would not go so far as to classify it as run-of-the-mill but I can respect your opinion on the matter sir.

Although, the only thing is that bothers me about that series now is that I may not be able to watch all the episodes during my lifetime.

Lemme get this right: you're complaining that an anime about ninjas, who are fighters and warriors, are violent?

*facepalm*

Why are these sort of threads always moved here? I think that Naruto-related threads posted outside of the Naruto section should either stay in the section it was originally posted in OR it should just be deleted. Most of these "lost" threads have the same ring to them anyway, IMO.

Like trolls asking everyone a question with a blatant and obvious answer, which results in the whole thread being a mockery of the OP.

You know, coming to the Naruto forum and creating a thread entitled 'Anti-Naruto' probably isn't such a good idea. In fact, that's what you'd call 'Trolling', which several people have already pointed out.

This is a subforum for fans of the show in question, just as the other anime-specific subforums are. The fanbase itself was large and active enough to warrant it's own protected place here at AN.

Perhaps you should have picked a specific topic (like violence content or some such thing) and asked other's opinions on that instead, without the biased label 'Anti Naruto' in the title.

Thread closed.
