I don't listen to much Japanese rock/metal music...

Although, there is one band I find to be truly respectable, and not just because they're Japanese and the grass is greener, but because they actually know how to rock.

Guitar Wolf is sweet, the only Japanese band I listen to other than Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra...but they're def. not heavy in any way.
