Chapter 435 *Spoilers*

Finally it comes to one on one but at what cost. The 3 frogs are out, Gama is in bad shape. Naruto manages to gather more Natural Energy and it overloads Fat Pein and he turns to stone allowing Naruto to break free. But as soon as Ma and Pa are about to launch the genjutsu Pein pulls Pa in and stabs him with that rod, then pulls in Naruto, grabs him and slams Naruto to the ground. Then Pein stabs Naruto on the hand, Naruto wants answers to why Pein is doing this which Pein replays that it's a good time to talk. Elsewhere Shikamaru meets up with Ino and co and being to gather info on what they now about Pein. Inoichi gets an idea from carrying bodies and thinks his got it.

For some reason I was expecting this chapter to be cooler. I have a bad feeling that the requisite, "I was a sad child" chapters are going to rear their head soon.

I still wonder why Hina wouldn't be able to see where the chakra is coming from. He would have to use something akin to Chakra strings to control the meat puppets so Neji, Hina or any of their clan should be able to see it.

Yep, inc flashback chappies for sure here. Even though this chapter was a slight let-down, it kinda needed to be. The past three months have been non-stop-balls-to-the-wall action, it needs to slow a bit.

^ Indeed. It was stated that the piercings are chakra receivers, so there won't be "chakra strings". Inoichi probably just realized that the dead female body he saw in the captured ninja's memory was brought to where Pein's controller must be... (oh know Nagato, they're a comin' for ya!).

The Fox better get involved soon, when Jiraiya got stabbed his chakra went out of control. So will the Fox get involved like when he knocked Pa off Naruto's shoulder.

Does anyone actually have a semi-concrete definition of what the Rinnegan actually is? All the other eye techniques deal with illusions and perceptions (which totally makes sense for eye techniques) or sending stuff to alternate dimensions (which kinda sorta makes sense).

But from what i've seen, the Rinnegan allows you to repel/pull stuff, which doesn't really seem eye related at all. Is Pain's ability to make those human puppets and control them remotely the real rinnegan, and everything else is just something he does?

that is merely God peins ability, no-one fully know what rinnegan does, but I think it has something to do with being able to invent ninjutsu since the inventor of ninjutsu had rinnegan, plus it may have some other abilities

Well i think the Rinnengan is fine but its naruto's Rasen sharuken thts da joke...

I mean its so slow even naruto can out run it.. And so called ultimate jutsu absorbed by da fat guy and repelled by pain!

So much being ultimate.. I think another version is around the bend where he uses 4 clones and mixes cosmic energy..

I think another version is around the bend where he uses 4 clones and mixes cosmic energy.."da fat guy" happens to be one of the Pain bodies (remember, there are 6 of them controlled by Nagato), and it's "da fat guy" that can absorb ANY jutsu. Absorb any jutsu > ultimate jutsu.

like kakashi said he couldnt even count how many times it hit kakuzu with his sharingan and you saw wat it did to him. and naruto was only 50% done with developing the regular rasen shuriken from wat i can remember... if im wrong someone correct me if they can please. so its deffinitly unfinished

I think it's safe to assume that the jutsu is now complete. The 50% Rasenshuriken left Kakuzu's body fairly intact, but the newly completed one totally tore Pain's body to shreds. There was only the top of his head left with a few scraps of the cloak. That seems pretty complete to me. The only way he could make it stronger is if it becomes so strong that it sucks things into it... only to shred it up. That would be viciously brutal.

I believe its complete too.. But developing this new jutsu was supposed give naruto some sorta advantage wasn't it? I mean yeh its pretty tough to mix wind into a rasengan but to what purpose.. If you get hit by an oodama, double or a natural energy rasengan (unless your da fat pein) u're dead! It not like u hve to be like super torn up dead.. So this jutsu was just a pointless exercise which created something that didn't do anything..

Take Sasuke's "that" jutsu.. Now that’s something else.. I mean he has the normal chidori which has limited range then he has this for long range strikes.. I don't think you can dodge that easily.. And he is way cooler doing it...

Well, it's not like we've seen a Katon jutsu burn any living thing to ashes. Amaterasu, the strongest fire jutsu since it can't be put out, barely did anything to Sasuke, Tobi, and Karin. While on the other hand, the Rasenshuriken shredded the Pain body. I'd say that pure destructive force is also a way to measure the worth of a jutsu.

Also, Pain's defenses are quite formidable, but few other shinobi would have anything capable of dispersing Naruto's Rasenshuriken. I guess the only other thing Naruto can do to make it better is if he can control it's direction and speed AFTER it's left his hand.

When they said all the Pein bodies present were puppets it got me wondering whether the Naruto looking one was the controlling one. I wonder if Nagato's original body is still around.

So on top of being able to use destructo-disk Naruto can eventually switch it up and use Frieza's energy disk? That would be pretty nice if I do say so myself.

and one of the reasons naruto made the rasen shuriken was to be on par with sasuke and adding the element was to be able to over power sasukes lightning powered attacks
