Hey guys, I was just wondering how many of you all have a DA account, and what you think of the DeviantArt community. I don't know if there are a lot of DA members here, or artists in general. So I figured it might be cool to start up this thread, to find out.

Take a look in the fanart subforum. Lots of people post their artwork in there, and they sometimes link to Deviant Art.

I have a deviantArt account, although I basically only use it to go in DeathlyMoonGoddess' chat room.

I have one. I like it. It is somewhere people can enjoy my artwork and photo and they can comment on them. I know there are a few members from here that have DA accounts. Fobb is one and was the one who introduced me to DA.

So much amazing talent on DA. I'm no artist myself, but I have an account on DA and I follow the art work of a bunch of artists on DA. There's lots of great stuff there, from paintings to digital art to photos. It must be a hot spot for recruiting talent into the various entertainment industries, because there's lots on there. Always a great website to visit.

As far as art communities go, I'm a huge fan of pixiv.net. It's a Japanese website, and you need to have an account to browse it, but I like how it works. I can spend hours on that site just going from profile to profile and looking at people's artwork. Pixiv even has a lot of my favorite artists on it, including Takehito Harada and Imperial Boy.

Deviant Art is cool as well, but it feels really slow sometimes.

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from there, though my biggest issue with DA is art theft. It happens a lot, and unfortunately, it usually goes unreported.

I originally entered in the hope of getting better access to seeing other peoples artwork of transformations...

But in the last week I posted my own stories. Anime and male to female TF themed of course...

Made one like two years ago, but only because my ex-girlfriend (my girlfriend at the point of my joining) has an account there and beckoned me to join. Since our relationship ended, I haven't been back much... I don't have any desire to look at the arts displayed there.

You don';t have to get a subby, you can though. They don't cost a lot, 3 months is $7 and 12 months is $24 something.

and if you have a subby the symbol infront of your name changes

I first got a subby, then went into settings and clicked the beta tester box :D
