RIP to the coolest Star Trek baddie ever. I am sure Hervé Villechaizeis in his little white suit outside the pearly gates to meet and greet.

Heres to a true great actor. I thank you Mr Ricardo Montalban for all your dedication to the film. May you rest in peace man.

Man, last night I was reading the guy's Wikipedia entry. It all started when I was looking for a picture of him in a Nehru jacket. Rest in peace, dude.

R.I.P. to a great actor. All the good ones have been leaving us one by one recently. I'll give Wrath a re-watch in his memory. :(

One wonders if his casket will be lined with the tradional silk, or...

Rich Corinthian Leather.

RIP, sir, and thank you for decades of entertainment.

What a damn shame. Forget Mr. Roarke from Fantasy Island, to me, Ricardo Montalban will ALWAYS be Khan, one of THE best movie bad guys EVER! Rest in peace, sir. You will be missed.

Wow, he's gone as well? I'm kind of surprised since I remember thinking "he looks pretty good for someone so old", like, 20 years ago when I saw pictures of him from 10 years before that! He seemed a real gentleman.

And yeah, classic in that Star Trek film.

Even in his most recent photographs he still looked great for a gentleman of eighty years of age. His appearance had not changed that much in a long time. He managed the difficult trick of growing old gracefully. He was of course, always full of grace, and extremely refined. Other than Khan Noonian Singh, that is what he will be best remembered for, as exemplified by his role in Fantasy Island.

I hadn't heard about this yet, sorry to hear about it. Not being a Star Trek fan myself, I will always remember him for the line, ""I am Mr. Roarke, your host. Welcome to Fantasy Island." . . . . RIP, Ricardo Montalban

Off-Topic:Sean Connery is getting up there too.

Sad but true. The one and only true James Bond

Damn, from the title of the thread I thought this was going to be a Shaka no Virgo fan thread or something..

You know, I never even truely watched the Wrath of Khan. One time they played it on tv back in the mid 90's that was the infamous day I found a littler of kittens in the backyard of a neighbor and they kind of got rid of em by giving them to me. The two female kittens are still alive today. Old fat hags, but still alive and rather healthy for their age.

Instead of watching the film I was paying attention to how colorful the calico kitten we ended up calling Canica ("marble" in spanish) was. I always wanted to see that movie from start to finish, but tv has been sucking as of late and all they want to put is the X-men films (the first two are good movies, but I'm sick of seeing them).

Anyone know from which part of Mexico was Ricardo born in?
