I'm interested in Unlocked Books, one of the latest publications by Penn State University in their Magic in History series - however, looking at their back catalogue and the table of contents of the book online I'm not sure it has what I want.

I was hoping for a selection of MSS reproduced in print maintaining the original pagination/folios in the margins and suggested readings for lacuna and so on as per Betz, Peterson, and many other publishers of magical MSS whose books I enjoy. Can anyone here who owns Unlocked Books or any other books in the series let me know if they're scholarly works or are they just riding the occult gravy train?

Societas Magica bear the financial burden of the publication of the series - looking over their website they have prepared a nice but not very extensive catalogue of magical manuscripts throughout the world's libraries - yet by putting their weight behind books with hilarious titles like "Battling Demons" I wonder how much this catalogue has been utilised.
