Good animation, good build up. I really enjoyed this one. The end had me really anxious for next weeks episode... and then I saw the "new arc" preview at the end. Looks like they're sprucing up the next story segment with filler...? >_<

So another filler arc on the way huh? Well at least this one will have the 3 Tails in it, so it kinda fits into the story.

Except its f'ing up the manga story line. Technically Naruto and co never run into the three tailed. Sai and Diedera just take him on. Nor is this fictitious character that is running into Naruto real.

Ugh.

Not as good as the 84 and 85 episodes.

For some reason I never realized how annoying naruto is 'til now.

Anyway great episodes, just as good as the previous ones. The filler arc looks pretty good in all honesty as they're avoiding the pitfall of using lame filler characters such as the horribly overused emo kid with a chip on his shoulder whose only purpose is for Naruto to befriend him. Here we have actual characters and Akasuki members going after the 3 tails. Looks fun to me.

I am still awaiting an announcement on the Kakashi arc.

Ugh.

First off this is the anime not the manga so it doesn't have to follow it verbatim, and since it's going to be Sasuke-con for the next year I don't mind a little Naruto-filler at this point. Plus some stuff with Shino, Kiba, and Hinata will be nice since we probably won't see them for 2 years. Also there does appear to be some cannon thrown in the preview so they make have 2 continuous storylines side by side. It may not be ALL filler.
