Is that it or is he having a semi-alive, semi-dead moment ?
I thought it was similar to Jiraya's final moments with the 4th before he really died .... I really hope that's not the end :(

This is the best Kishi could come up with. So Naruto can use Sage Arts by himself but not with Fuka. Fox is the jealous type i take it, but couldn't Naruto use his clones to keep Pein busy while he gathers Natural Energy.

I still don't think Kakashi is going to die. This looks like a 'almost dead' moment, and I'm guessing his dad will tell him there's 'something still living/fighting for' and Kakashi will come back. Or he'll come back to life to a slug sucking on his face. Either way, I'm still not ready to write him off as a goner.
As for Naruto not being able "fuse", well, Kishimoto must have a plan for this development...

Well obviously Konohamaru is way more important than kakashi. :P

I am actually wondering what his role in this is, tbh, I just imagine him getting b*tched about by pein and then someone saves him

I know it was petty much assured already, but at least now we know that Rin is dead. Also I like the way Kishi is pulling Kakashi's death/near-death. A bit anti-climatic but still fitting and still sad. Especially since you see Kakashi slumped over in rubble, alone, surrounded by other dead villagers like Choji's father. It will be interesting to see what he and his father have to say.
