Edit: Read it and i wont put up a summary because I'm sad it went this way. No it doesn't say Kakashi is dead but unless one of Tsunade's slug leeched on its the end. Chouji's dad dying a bit sad too. Danzo wants to be Hokage, well old man its not going to happen.

Wow that chapter really set up a bunch of different things, which really created a good dramatic atmosphere. No chapter next week is just wrong after something like this, but makes sense as it seems like there are a few things to develop on as the story continues. Very cool stuff.

I don't think Kakashi will end this way...he's just too important of a character to have such a menial and anti climactic end. I mean we've seen Chouji survive through the pills that were supposed to kill him, Neji survive his encounter with the spider guy way back...and they had huge battles...Kakashi got like 2 chapters and not much of a fight at all to die this way.

Well I wasn't disappointed-at least someone did die. Seeing that Kakashi didn't die this chapter suggests Kakashi will surivive this raid somehow. Danzou's moves are pretty clever, but it seems weak. I mean the village has been attacked by several groups over the years, why would Danzou believe this time a coupe de'tat would work and be supported by the masses?

Of course if he wins then Sasuke could face Danzou, Danzou could give the orders to assasinate Sasuke or welcome the Lighting ninjas to take him out. I'm sure it was Danzou who pressed to have the Uchiha slain, This seems custom-made for another Sasuke moment here. Bleck. :x

If you remember Danzou gave Sai the order to assassinate Sasuke way back when, so I'm sure he supported the attack on the Uchiha clan, but is he an advisor as well as heading Root?

in fairness he has been given some big power ups with his MS and lightning dog, plus even his lightning clone, however it has always been made clear he doesnt have alot of chakra, and that he also uses up more chakra than normal using his sharingan because he is not an uchiha

I thought it was mentioned before that if someone gets sharingan through transplant, the eyesight remains the same. (side story of Madara and his brother, and how Madara stole his brother's eyes to keep his eyesight permanent).

the hokage building I believeThat's the one place I DIDN'T think they were going. We've seen the Hokage building exterior enough times throughout the series, but I don't recognize that place they landed on. I was thinking that maybe they were going to either the interrogation area, or medical examination area to recover the bodies (but how would they know where they are, unless they are just following the chakra receivers Shizune is carrying). Can anyone translate the building kanji?

The lightning dog and clone are fairly simple jutsus (we don't know if he had them before) and he can't use the MS without passing out. If you compare all that against what the much younger Sasuke has got, it's almost nothing.

Yes, he did. It's not shown, but Pain mentions that that is how Kakashi avoided death that time.
