when Naruto adds wind element chakra to his resengan it makes it look like a shuriken, what do you think would happen if someone added any of the other elements to it

Maybe if he combined fire element with his rasengan he could have something close to a bomb that explodes on a very large scale, sort of like Frieza's planet destroying bomb in DBZ in terms of destructive power but just on a smaller scale than a whole planet.

perhaps a water one would cause some large amount of water to appear from the resengan on contact and drown him in a whirlpool, we will never know

Or maybe a water one will do major physical damage like the way they water-bend in Avatar, except here it would just be one giant lethal spinning burst of Mizu-Rasengan.

ground would be abit rubbish I think, all I can come up with is create earthquakes

Combining wind with ground could give you a debris-filled whirlwind that bombards you with rocks flying at high speeds once you're caught in it.

I've always wondered about wind element mixed with chidori nagashi, that would be pretty darn cool. No one would be able to physically touch the guy seriously....

chidori nagashi is already chakra mixed with lightning element recomp, so wind element would negate the lightning, but i get what ur saying.
