Well, not much to say except GREAT EPISODE.

This was superb. Great animation, great direction. I kid you not, I felt like I was watching a film produced by Prod IG. I wasn't so bothered with the Shikamaru 'not smoking in the anime when he did in the manga' thing since everything else was so great about this episode.

Wow, this episode is how you draw out the manga and do it right. Probably be another 100 episodes until we see another like this.

Happy days, just found out from another Naruto forum that the guy who directed this episode is also going to take on episode 85. Finally, they're spending that Narutard money in a positive way.

On a side note: The latest opening is wicked! The first couple of times I saw it, it was meh but the more I watch it just gets more and more awesome. The music and visuals really capture the essence of Shippuuden for me.
