next chapters looking to be another sad day in naruto world if kakashi is killed off, which i hope he doesnt cause along with everybody else i love kakashi and hope he could pull something out of his bag of tricks. but if it all happens the way it looks like it will imagine how naruto will be... pissed off to the max along with sakura and possibly sasuke(sauce-gay)

no kishi, not kakashi, you killed Jiraiya off, dont do in kakashi too :( then again if the theories about him turning people he kills into his puppets kakashi would make sense since he is narutos teacher and would make a good challenge for naruto

I just watched the whole thing. It was from Franky house, the ending is kind of different. It says nothig like "A Hero Sinks".

Anyway; Kakashi and co. gave a good fight. Too bad it was not enough.

I dunno, that would be a rather lackluster end for some of Kakashi's stature (and standing with the fan community). I doubt Kakashi was killed here (seriously, death by NAIL?!), but that nail may very well have ended his use of the Sharingan...

Yeah he could have been aiming for that. I don't know if the translation was a bit off or was it the spelling but it seemed that Kakashi was taunting Pein so he might have something hidden and is this finally the end for Puppet Pein?

I agree, this may still be part of Kakashi's plan to catch "Deva Pein" unaware.

Pain would want to keep Kakashi alive to try and get Naruto's whereabouts. Also, Tsunade's slugs are/should be coming along any time soon now. Besides that, Kakashi may have been able to fire off a Mangekyou jutsu. Either that, or he got Pain with a genjutsu during the point that his Raikiri couldn't get through. A genjutsu could've also fired off while Pain was aiming his nail. Those are just possibilities though. Hopeful possibilities.

I was just thinking that earlier, kakashi surely must have used his MS, to at least remove the nail into that dimension

^Yeah he could have used MS to get rid of the nail and cast a genjutsu so it look like it got him. But he still only has/had half his chakra left, someone need to show up soon or his in trouble. Still hoping for Gai to show up.

Kakashi can't have an ending like this. What happened to his MS? Genjutsu? Tsunade's slugs or Gai should've gotten there by now to help.

Well if Kakashi dies and Chouji doesn't I will be disappointed. I say it could go either way. The last lines of this chapter make it rather dire and Kakashi will die. If he dies Naruto will suffer even more. Maybe Kishi wants to make everyone as angtsy as Sasuke is. :P However, if Kakashi does die there will be no Kakashi/Tobi (if he is Obito) reunion, and let's not forget abiout poor Gai. What will he do now that his rival is dead. I thought Kakashi would outlive Tsunade...but maybe not.

With the damn Mangekyou a character could be ripped to little shreds at the end of a chapter and I'd still take it with a grain of salt.

I would have no problem with Kakashi dying, but not like this. Sure, he's become of shell of what he once was, but there have been too many disappointing death scenes. It'll be a shame to lose Kakashi, yet Shikamaru still roams the manga. Guess get rid of the useful and interesting and keep the worthless and pathetically boring is Kishi's motto for Part 2.

Plus the manga more Sasuke. Or just Uchihas in general. The stories usually have a major letdown when they're not involved.
