Tsunade: In other words, they all move according to these chakra signals they receive? ...A receiver, eh...? Or maybe it's a way for them to transmit chakra between them...
Shizune: And this is responding right now... I'm sure this has something to do with the secret of Pein's strength. Once we have the info from the interrogators, we can solve this!
Tsunade: According to the Info Bureau, they're looking for Naruto... Pein is the one who's invaded the village, no doubt about it.

Wow, it was almost a YEAR to this day that I called it:

If my 'theory' that Pain's piercings ("chakra jewelry") are what allows him to control each of his bodies is correct, then the spikes or whatever that are in each of his summoned creatures may be there as a means of controlling them (probably against their will).

Which, is basically exactly what Shizune just told Tsunade (in regards to Pain's bodies).

Holy crap, I just re-read the chapter and noticed what Naruto did on page 10 (the page that has the "faith" text bubble). Look at the mountain tops in the background... looks like Naruto can now THROW his Rasenshuriken (I missed it the first time, I was kind of speed reading the chapter). I re-read 418 as well and it looked like he did it there on page 10 as well (the page where he says he needs to keep practicing without anyone noticing). I first thought that was just a cloud of smoke from a technique dispelling, but now I see it's the top of the mountain gone. Well, it looks like it's working, but I don't know how no one is going to notice what he did :lol:

Out of curiosity, I looked up the raw, and Danzou's line in Japanese is "Kore de Kyuubi wa tojikomete okeru," which, if I'm translating correctly, means "With this, the Nine-Tails can be locked away." (Tojikomeru can either mean "to shut up," "to lock up," or "to imprison.") So, it would seem HisshouBuraiKen's translation is more accurate than the one I read, as well, and also conveys a more suspicious meaning than just simply "Now the Nine-Tails will be out of the way." I have a feeling that Danzou has something planned, something that is going to end badly for many people, if not the entire village.

You know... there is always the possibility--a slim one, but one nonetheless--that Danzou is working for Akatsuki, or at least for Pein. The thought occurred to me when I read that panel, but I dismissed it as kind of ridiculous. But now I wonder if I should keep that in the back of my mind....

Went back and saw those two pages, I was hoping for it to be a move that would be better than a Naruto version of Destructo Disc. But if it is that, then why did Jiraiya bother telling Naruto not to use it. The only draw back I can think of is that it leaves him open but he can use clones to solve that.

Either way from 418 to 421 it has improved a lot. I'm sure that no one is going to question why mountains are cut in half, they just happen normally in the Naruto world.

Still though, I imagine Naruto is throwing the Rasenshuriken, since the damage being left is level, as opposed to concave. But he didn't have that technique until well after that mention from Jiraiya about not using "that jutsu". There must still be another "that justu" not revealed to us yet, but I'm not so sure THIS is the one yet (unless Naruto is combining a "that jutsu" with throwing a Rasenshuriken?)

Still though, given it's context, and the look on Naruto's face when it was said, maybe the "that jutsu" was just refering to Naruto's going 4-tails? :huh:

Still the shuriken cause Naruto damage and was told to use it as a last resort move. Unless he is adding Natural Energy into it instead of Wind Element to counter the side effect. It is possible that it is the case because your just switching one for the other.

It is possible that it is the case because your just switching one for the other.I was actually just re-reading the Naruto vs Kakuzu fight; Naruto was told to not use the Futon Rasenshuriken because of the damage it causes to himself. But in Hermit-mode, he probably won't be effected by his own jutsu. So I figure he's just reinforcing his own body with Hermit-mode so he can use the Futon Rasenshuriken without hurting himself, but that still doesn't explain the long distance damage he's doing to those mountains.

o how much i love naruto, he has the foxs chakra, his own massive amount of chakra that even kakashi said doubles his own, hermit mode (natural energy), and dont forget what ever itachi shoved down his throat, plus hes possibly throwing moves equivelent to like spirit bomb or something (bad reference)... i say naruto will be able to pwn pein and sauce-gay

About Naruto keeping this training a secret still doesn't make any sense to me. The only reason he would have is if it does involve the 9-tails.

EDIT: the next chapter is called Kakashi's hope, I wonder whats going to happen in it, perhaps it has something to do with what Jiraiya has said to him in the past

Kakashi's hope is most likely Guy coming to his aid. Isn't the fat Pein that came in the one that absorbs Ninjutsu?

orochimaru takes 2 villages worth of ninja in konoha and dont do alot of damage, Pein comes in and could probably destroy the whole village, I would feel gutted if I was oro
