So... you've never heard of Jörmungandr, the Midgard Serpent?
Not an Ah! My Goddess fan, eh?
Or is it just that you've never heard of Quetzalcoatl? Winged snakes have been around for a while. What'ya think dragons are, ultimately? Just really, really BIG winged serpents.

^ I've read you're under arrest but not ah! my goddess. And even then I didn't think the Midgard Serpent had wings.
EDIT 2:
Desslock:
Quetzalcoatl - I thought he was a bird.And dragons aren't snakes. They are reptiles/lizards.

I do know Quetzalcoatl is a winged serpent and especially Chinese dragons are more serpent than lizards.

Nah, I was just talking about the "Earth Serpent" aspect of it, since I didn't know what the OP was specifically referring to. Then I noticed the "wings" reference and added old Quetzy.
Jörmungandr would've been way too big to get airborne, I think.

Is that Chinese Astrology? You know the Chinese just invented that to make money right?
Now the I Ching on the other hand. That's real, you can tell by the fact it makes no sense what so ever.
