Would this be correct?:
Real robots: limited to the law of physics, realistic, can possibly be made in real life someday
examples: Macross, FLAG, Orguss, Votoms, Battletech Gundams, Gasaraki
Super robots: pilots shout names for attack/defense, colorful, break the law of physics, over-the-top, can have magical/mystical/supernatural origin/powers, portray superheros, not realistic at all, impossible in real life
examples: Dancouga, Mazinkaiser, Shin Getter Robo, Gurren Lagann, Brave Raisen, GaoGaiGar
Hybrids: combination of real robot and super robot
examples: Evas, Ideon, Psybuster, Granzon/Neo Granzon, Astranagant/Dis Astranagant, SRX
Would SRX be considered a hybrid? Since it's 3 real robots that form a super robot?
Would the mechanics of Transformers be realistic?

Tekkaman Blade wouldn't be a good example of real robots. I see it more of an alien bioegineered armor like Gyver.

Gundam belongs in the real robot section more than anything...considering its what created the real robot genre in anime-_-;
While there are Gundam's that are super robots(G Gundam) they are usually just war machines, which makes them real robot. It doesn't matter if they are more unrealistic compared to Gasaraki or Votoms.

Real Type: High evade, not so high HP, defense, attack
Super: High defense, HP, attack, low hit and evade
Unless it's a piece of crap like Bryger, then it has low everything.

I compare real/super robots with a human analogy.
Real robots: An actual IRL soldier, with multiple equippable weapons
Super Robots: Superman, all flashy and unrealistic

IMO the most realistic of the real robots is Patlabor.

IMO the most realistic of the real robots is Patlabor.
I vote Votoms (it's considered as part of the mecha genre, right?)

You're on the right track, but just remember that the line between Real Robot and Super Robot is very fine indeed. In fact, your hybrid category pretty much proves the point that Real Robots and Super Robots aren't necessarily all that different.
Presentation has a lot to do with distinguishing a real robot from a super robot. If the robot is presented in a more realistic fashion, as a more common, military war machine rather than a unique, one-of-a-kind super weapon, then it's more real robot than super robot. Even the anime series that defined the Real Robot genre (Gundam, Macross, Patlabor) sometimes cross the line between real robot and super robot. For example, the invulnerability of the Gundams and the Trans-Am system in Gundam 00 are elements that are very super robot-esque. The Sound Force Valkyries in Macross 7 are also super robot in their powers and presentation. Generally speaking, the more over-the-top the machine is, the less likely the robot is a real robot.
