Just eww....who would pretend to be 12?!
I can't believe he got away with it.

Why? Was the plot of the news article contrived, badly written, and relayed with all the subtlety of an atomic bomb?

If not, then I can't imagine what reminds you of CSI.

As for the content of the article, maybe he's just a normal guy who was sitting in a bar with his buddies when one of them said, "You ever wish you were back in junior high?" He just really took it literally.

Note to all junior-high school girls who are wondering why your parents disapprove of you dating until you're 16: Your prospective date might be 30 years old.

How the fudge did he avoid suspicion? Like that must've been some good make up job, and he must've been really short to get away with it.

I can't help but think it's Ironic that one school was called 'Surprise'. That's what they got.

An 11 year old?

Seriously though, this story is fascinating beyond the obvious "eww gross pedophile let's hang him" aspect. Really makes you wanna know exactly how he was able to pull this off, and yet it kinda...doesn't.

This reminds me of an episode of Recess. "Not a bad way for a 40-year-old dude to make a living!" That's it, I'm ordering Toon Disney!!

Also, it is fortunate that no small (or large) childs were molested by this disturbed Man-Boy.

It's more like an episode of Law and Order.

Guy pretending to be kid: It's like.. you know in Blade Runner there's that guy who'd got a degenerative disease so he looks prematurely old? I've got that and that's why I look like a 30 year old in make up rather than a 12 year old boy. Honest!

Teacher: How come you remember Blade Runner?

That's what should have happened.

(BTW I'm sure I heard about this news story about a year ago... and a woman who did the same thing... erm, somewhere on mainland Europe - I forget where.)

My God! There's no way he could have avoided any suspicion for so long. They probably just thought he was harmless and let him stay because he reminded them of Angus Young...

Yavapai County Attorney Sheila Polk said that according to the terms of the plea deal, Rodreick must serve no less than 70 years and six months in prison.

That'll probably come down somewhat on appeal.

I mean, they'll probably burry him once he's dead.

There's a lot worse things that have happened in Arizona. Such as a small air force bomb found in the same place as a bunch of illegal immigrants (this has happened twice).

Not the first time. People will continue to try stupid things like this forever.

Completely different reasons... but still really really suspicious!

A 33-year-old US woman posed as her 15-year-old daughter to enroll at school because she wanted to be a cheerleader.

There's a photo and everything.
