i ust re-watched the first eps of naruto...the first time around i watched the dubs but have found the subs more satisfiying to listen to (dont ask me what that means but its true) so this time i watched the subs and realised the english and japanese versions have different intro songs...i know this also occurs in dragonball z and pokemon....basically what i want is for you guys to post any animes you find with different intros in different dubs and if possible post links to both songs....thanks to any one who posts

Naruto OP/ED songs aren't changed on the uncut DVDs even when you watch it dubbed. Its only the TV & edited DVDs that use the changed OP/ED.

Sometimes changed OP is a good thing, take Orguss 02. Alternative Opening Music & then Original Music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENR6vUqeZpo).
Although I think when Manga Ent changes the OP its like that regardless of what track you choose. But I only watch Orguss 02 in English.

Street Fighter II V OP: Original (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbFIc-oag94) / Replaced (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUFl5SYUSBE)
I'll take the replaced OP any day over the wussy original OP.

Now as for actual dubbed song(which Naruto or DBZ didn't do BTW) FUNi has done many(Blue Gender, Fruits Basket, YYH, One Piece, etc.), mostly in their early years. When Bang Zoom first started dubbing anime they dubbed the OP/ED's to RayEarth(their first dub) and some of Kenshin TV but stopped soon after.

First of all, the the only times the Naruto OP was different IIRC was when the show first started. They were too afraid to broadcast Rocks as the first opening, and they used a crappy dub OP. However, when the first arc ended, they switched the OP to Asian Kung-Fu Generation's Haruka Kanata. And then proceeded to skip Kanashimi wo Yasashisa Ni (keeping Haruka Kanata in its place because they were probably afraid of using the lady's singing as the OP,). After that they moved on to Sambomster's OP (just as in the Japanese version) and then No Boy, No Cry and now another OP... and now, the Japanese OPs are being used reguarly, I believe.

Now, for EDs...

Naruto has never used a Japanese ED in its TV broadcast dub.

Yeah I remember the original OP songs when I watched Naruto on TV. Although I mostly just wait for the uncut DVDs.
