I had a similar argument a few months ago with a crippled friend who has free parking on campus but not in off campus housing? WTF mate, I was pissed.

He did not steal the boots. He just moved the car into his garage, he said that they could take them. They took them back and tried to make him sign a ticket that said "refusal to pay". Though he never said he wouldn't pay either
THe big problem is the rage fest that the private booting company went on when he owned them. They booted cars that were not even in violation
