Unexpected. I saw him on tv a few days ago.

He was one of my favorite political commentators/interviewers on TV. He didn't pull punches like many other folks in the media and didn't ask those irrelevant questions that seem to distract from the real issues. Sigh I really regret missing Meet the Press as often as I did lately.

I read an opinion that said he was very average, but when you consider his questions in comparison to the other NBC correspondents,Gregory, Matthews, and Olbermann, you begin to realize how special he actually was.
