I've been informed through a phone call from my sister's friend that my older sister, whom I haven't seen or talked to in nine years, is being held captive in some guy's house. She's being beaten daily and isn't allowed to leave. She doesn't have any form of communication with the outside world. So I'm going over to save her. I'll notify the police once I'm there, but I'm depending on myself more than anything. I'm going to find them, and this scumbag had better hope he isn't home when I do.

I don't know his address yet because nobody has answered the phone on the number that her friend left. But I'll find out.

There are state laws on what type of guns you can own, based on calibre and type of gun, and very few states allows assault weapons,unless you're military or something. And pretty much anything goes in the South, because rednecks LOVE the second amendment. Some states make it extremely mother****ing hard to own a gun (the waiting period in New Jersey for a pistol is six months) There are also waiting periods that vary drastically - a couple days to several months (also on type of gun) - and sometimes civilians can get a permit to carry a gun on them concealed in certain states (pistols). Of course they do massive background checks and everything before this.

OK, Very few states ban guns based on calibre or type of gun
and Very few states have "assault weapons' bans because civilians can not own an automatic weapon that was made after 1986. California has banned rifles and shotguns based on a handful of cosmetic designs and will deny CCW permits 99% of the time. IN Illinois and Michigan gun ownership is out right banned. and i nthese three staes gun murders/ robbery/ assaults are throu gh the roof because civilians can not defend themselves
God you don't know crap about gun laws in the US so think before you type. I own 4 guns and AnimeMatt has 5 and we both have CCW permits and use them. They don't just work with pistols they work with any firearm or dangerous weapon. In North Dakota I walk in pick out a handgun or rifle or shotgun and wak out the sameday after the NICS check is done. Vermont allows concealed Carry without a permit and there is low crime there

You buy a Dominos pizza, you show up at the front door with it, you knock. When scumbag opens the door, you explain how you very definitely got a call to deliver a pizza to this address... darn it, must've been a prank call, does the guy know who would'a done it... man, my boss is gonna kill me, do you maybe wanna buy a pizza... keep your arm in an optimal position to punch under the pizza box, offer to just give the pizza to the guy so you can make the rest of your deliveries, and when he takes it, you break his nose with your fist.

In reality, I expect that nothing exciting will happen. I expect the police will arrive, scumbag and victimized sister will blow it off like nothing's happening, the police will be unable to intervene, and... that'll be that. Another case of domestic abuse.

Actually, now that I think back, I did intervene one day between my sister and her ex-husband, who is about five inches taller and much larger than me. He didn't know I was there, he was backing her down the hall, I stepped out of their home office between the two of them and Intervened. She eventually left him, but I was assured for the remainder of their marriage, It Never Happened Again.

That's a real good idea but there's way too much deliberating going on in there. It seems to me that posting one's thoughts or subsequent actions on an internet forum is less for the members to gossip about it than it is for the OP to prepare himself for what he knows needs to be done.

Posting a major event in your personnal life on an internet forum is more like therapy, really. It helps finalize a difficult decision and strengthen resolve.

I don't see how. There's one difference. On the battlefield you kill with a tap of the finger and the only repercussion is some soft recoil. Outside of the battlefield you have to creep up behind with a hammer and tap with your whole arm, multiple times. The repercussions being potentially much greater.

Yeah, sometimes he makes stuff up, at least on his youtube videos (http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=l3loodfist&p=r), but it all tends to be stuff that's really obviously mythos-building and is funny as hell (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Krup7marEo), involving large wild animals or whatever. Even though he delivers it all completely deadpan. He's never told a tall tale about his awesome life that was as specific to a person or serious as this one. So I was thinking... maybe this one is true?
