The man who designed the Pringles potato chip packaging system was so proud of his accomplishment that a portion of his ashes has been buried in one of the iconic cans.
The man who designed the Pringles can had part of his cremated remains buried in one, his family says.
Fredric J. Baur, of Cincinnati, died May 4 at Vitas Hospice in Cincinnati, his family said. He was 89.
Baur's children said they honored his request to bury him in one of the cans by placing part of his cremated remains in a Pringles container in his grave in suburban Springfield Township.
I hope the thread title (matching the one I saw) disappointed you as much as it did me when you read the details. I was seriously hoping they'd buried him in a 6' vac-packed Pringles can. (That way, if there really was a 2nd Coming and he made the list, he'd be sealed for freshness and the can would make the charcteristic popping sound as the seal was broken)

I think pringles are great, they're less greasy, resealable, etc. etc. etc.
When I eat lays I feel like I just cooked bacon.

They really are. Funny, 'cause I used to love those things in Middle School.
Anywho, that's interesting (?), I suppose... I was hoping his remains would be placed in a Super Special Pringles can and, like, placed on Display at the Pringles Museum (?) or somethin' like that.

Nope, just the system that funnels the chips into the container...pretty nifty stuff too if you're into mass packaging technology...which I'm not.

I'm not really big on Pringles. I'm more of a Sun Chips man myself, especially of the Garden Salsa variety, but BBQ Pringles are pretty damn good too when I'm in the mood for it.

Yea I don't really like the greasy chips either. Though I find myself snacking on those 90 calorie Kellog's strawberry bars lately. I'm sure that's helping keeping my weight down.

Sadly, healthy food(with the exception of most fruits) is not only overrated but usually lacking in flavor as well. The torture I subject myself to remain fit.
I fully agree with you about sushi, sadly where I live there are only a few really good places to get it and I'm getting bored of eating there by my lonesome.

Well the store I work at sells some good stuff but it's cheap compared to the Real stuff. It's good but cheap and I like it that way :P
