Hey I've been listening to some really sweet music on youtube that's fairly rare and I was wondering, does anyone know of any good programs that can record the audio from youtube songs into your own songs?

Bus your sound card output to your sound card line in, then use Window's sound recorder to record or use Garageband if you have a Mac....

There are also You tube video downloaders out there. You can down download the Flash Video file (.flv) you just need to give it the address of the video.
Some of them also have the ability to rip the Sound out of the file (into Wave or MP3 usually).

or You could try this website: http://vixy.net/

just "copy and paste" the URL in the space provided and use the pull-down menu below it to select "Converts to:" MP3 (Audio Only).

You'll have to wait a few minutes for it to process the video and convert it. (it has a progress bar)
.
Once that's done you will be presented with a download link, click it and save the file to you're desktop

I'm trying it (mp3 audio only) for this song...

on a Mac, but it doesn't seem to work. It just says "Resolving the video URL" and continues to say that hours later.

Just download the beta converter from their site to your computer and then use that on your computer to convert it. It took me a while to figure out that that's the way to go. It only takes a few seconds to convert the audio to MP3, rather than just sitting there waiting for hours and hours and hope the converter on their site does it.

Not having much luck, mainly because I'm having trouble getting used to my Mac after having used windows all my life.

But I really want to get this song soon for a cd I want to burn for somebody. Could anyone send an mp3 to my e-mail account? (just pm me for it)
