What One Piece Movies are worth it?

I watched Movie 1 a while ago and I thought it was pretty decent so then I was going to buy Movie 8 since it's available in R1 and then I saw that it was just a poor retelling of the Arabasta arc from the TV series.

So me finding that out makes me wonder if the other movies from 2-7 that I haven't watched are worth it. I mean if they aren't I'll live but if they are please tell.

i've only watched 6 and 7. i didn't like 6 but 7 was ok..kind of

and movie 8 is ok if you really liked the Arabasta arc. movie 9 is a re-telling of the Chopper arc (whatever its called) but this time Robin and Franky are already part of the crew and the Sunny Go is their ship, there are also some new bad guys i think so it sounds good to me.

For me, movies from2-7 were pretty much okay and decent, except for the one where there' s a giant turtle or something, I can' t remember which movie number that was... I didn' t like it much...) I' ll say it' s average and okay overall, but not amazing... Watching them is enjoyable with the little jokes around, but it' s just okay.


I also didn' t really like the Movie 8. I thought the fights were too short and poorly done and it lacked the emotion the anime episodes brought. Everything seemed to have been done too fast to fit an hour or two.

But I' m sure the 9th movie will be great. I' m hoping.^_^
